+: It has Zelda and some other Nintendo 1st party titles

-: I'm not that into waggle controls, and I hate the fact that's it's so inferior on the technical level

PS3:

+: Got some great exclusives, well built, cool looking piece of hardware, Bluray, Free online

-: Price could be a bit lower, inferior multiplats

360:

+: Superior multiplats, great back catalogue of games I haven't lpayed yet, great controller

-: I hate paying for online (hence I don't)

Ps3

Good: Comes with lots of goodies

Bad: Expensive

360

Good: (According to GS) The most high scoring games for a console

Bad: RRoD

Wii:

Good: Most unique amount of games

Bad: Shovelware galore

PS3

+ Well build, Free online, Build in wifi, Blu-Ray, Brilliant games out now and coming soon

- Expensive, Multiplats are inferior, PSN doesn't have the same content for everyone

Xbox 360

+ Very good games, Cheap

- Easily broke, Lacking in upcoming games, MS is greedy with the add-ons(HDD, Wifi etc)

Wii

+ It has a few very good games, VC has alot of good old games

- Lacking in good games, Massive amount of Shovelware, The controls are annoying in alot of games, Lacking in games that interest me, Prices where raised in UK and Ireland

Good: Graphical power

Bad: For a console built for innovation, why the hell has it taken so long (and still taking so long) for devs to make innovative or atleast better controlling games? (seriously, where the hell is my mech game and my cell shaded TPS?)

Good: Good entry price, Nintendo Franchises, intuitive controls

Bad: No HD capability, no unified online system, lots of 3rd party shovelware

good: ninty's 1st party titles, quirky off beat games

bad: not as powerful, lackluster multiplat support

XBox360 Positives - affordable

XBox360 Negatives - faulty hardware on early models, pay for online, loud

Wii Positives - ............ my 9 year old brother likes it.....

Wii Negatives - Wasn't made for people older than 13

Wii:

Pro-Great for the whole family, a fun system

Con-Most games don't seem to have much depth to them.

PS3:

Pro-Reliable, very well designed, first party software is top notch. Free online.

Con-Public perception is that it is expensive, DS3 not well designed, functionality can be a bit clunky

360:

Pro-XBL is intergrated into the system and all of it's games, great controller, great system functionality within a game

Con-Really crappy console build quality, gold online is subscription based, first party software is the weakest of all 3 consoles

Wii

+It's attracted a lot of new gamers

-Motion controls aren't my thing. They're also generally poorly implemented except on first party titles and a few third party titles

Xbox 360

+LIVE is a great idea. It's mainstreamed online gaming for consoles

-Hardware quality (although probably not an issue now, but I still refuse to support it), paying for online when online gaming anywhere else is free.

Playstation 3

+Great exclusives

-Aggressive price point, poor implementation of online gaming

PC

+Graphical prowess, functions beyond gaming (duh), cheaper games

-...not really interested in RTS or FPS, so the two that play best on PC never captured me. Slightly more expensive than consoles, although not by much.

Wii

+ Has some great first and third party games

- Tons of shovelware, Friend Codes

Xbox 360

+ Tons of excellent games, Xbox Live

- RROD, Having to pay for Live

Playstation 3

+ Some great games, PSN is free

- Cost is a little high

Wii Good- Gives seniors something to do

Wii Bad- My Grandma broke her hip on the coffee table while bowling

Pro: Easy to pick up and play, Super mario galaxy is great

Con: Controls are imprecise and become a waggle fest, excessive shovelware, basically a repackaged gamecube, overpriced, can't hold my attention, terrible online

Pro:Great library, hd gaming on the cheap, comes w/ cables and headset

Con:Unreliable hardware, charge for online, overpriced accessories, lacks built-in wifi, needs AA batteries

PS3

Pro: Best package for your $, most technologically advanced, good 1st party line up

Con: Expensive, no hdmi/component cables in the box, games were coming out very slow at the start

360- pros:great library of games, XBL

cons: pays $ for XBL, RROD if you leave the console in poor condition

PS3-pros: great exclusive, blu-ray, free online, internet browser

cons: PSN lack some features from XBL

Wii-pros: great 1st party games, some games utilizes the controller well

cons: many mini games, Wii-motion sensing sometimes isn't necesary for some games like SSBB and sometimes it feels like a gimmicky.
