Screw MS You now have to be Gold to watch Netflix!

The only console that requires you to pay to watch netflix. Well i guess i'll just watch it on my computer now.

Ms you suck and I personally hate you. I dont have a gold account because atm there is nothing worth playing on xbox.

no you havent always had to be gold. I just watched netflix yesterday on my silver account as i have done for months. Now i get on today and i cant.

If it comes for fee when you're a gold member then it's a bargain but if it doesn't then it is a very dirty ploy to get people to buy a gold memebership.

Its always been like that, not that I like it. I find it stupid actually. 360 is the only platform that requires you to by their membership to have access to it.

no Ms wants you to pay essentially 13 bucks a month to watch netflix. 5 per month for xbl 8 per month from netflix. No other netflix provider requires you to pay.

This weekend was a promotional Free Gold weekend.

That does suck. My TV can play Netflix movies (and the picture looks better) so it doesn't matter to me. Plus, I have gold anyways.

I don't own a 360, but I've come to accept that MS does as MS does. That being said, I feel like the fair thing to do (which they won't) is to allow you to use features that are paid for outside of Gold free (i.e. Netflix, Last.FM if you have a subscription). Making you pay twice is asinine.

On a random sidenote, here's what could be considered a slight misstep in logic: I think paying for Gold is a ripoff, yet I found PS Plus to be of good value and subscribed for a year. Hypocrisy? I can never tell. :P

Ok I bought an xbox and a three month subscription back when halo reach came out. Actually the day it came out. My Gold ran out and I was still able to watch netflix. Now its been more than three months. Why would i still be able to watch netflix?

I've always assumed it was that way, I don't mind because I can use Netflix streaming for free on my PS3 and it does a much better job, streams start up much faster.

Isn't there enough out there on MS you could have legitimately attacked them on instead of lying about this BS? You always had to have Gold to watch Netflix, period. Do your research next time you plan on stretching the truth.bez2083
