The grim fact is, the PS3 is in no position to maintain high-cost exclusives - all of the Sony lies, analyst bull, and paid-off editors in the world can't make Sony's fantasy-miracle (the PS3 taking off and beating the Wii) happen. The reality is, the PS3 with some work will be in the 360's shoes at the end of the gen - and you will see a vast majority of titles (yes, from Square-Enix as well) that will be 360 - PS3 multiplat, or 360 - PS3 - PC multiplat.

High-end, high-visual games cost too much money to be exclusively on a system with games sales as low as we see on the PS3 - they *must* go multiplat to make money, and that is what they will do. You haven't been "screwed over" by Square-Enix - you were screwed over by Sony when they lied (yes - lied) to you about how successful their system would be, and promised to deliver a gaming library they won't be able to deliver.
-
However, I don't see what difference it honestly makes so long as you still get the games - yes, you can be mad at Sony, but exclusivity hardly matters so long as you get the game at all. Now, if you get the games *late* you still ahve no one to blame but Sony - had they managed the PS3 better, you would get the games that were expected sooner.

Waaaa  Sony lied to us Waaaaa, Do you really think that Sony was counting on the PS3 getting its butt kicked by the Wii? They underestimated the competition. I especially remember one quote I read in my magazine before the PS3 came out. "Microsoft is aiming for the Moon. We are aiming for the Sun" They were on top last gen and the gen before that, Of course they were gonna be arrogant. Most people get arrogant when they are on top, especially for ten years. They expected to win the whole thing without any competition, they expected the devs all backing Sony again and making many exclusives. They guessed wrong, they made a mistake, everyone makes mistakes you know. I'm perfectly happy with this gen anyway, I owned a PS2 last gen and a Nintendo 64 before that, But I was really quite young during those years and I just played any crap that came my way.
P.S Being able to turn off and turn on my PS3 with the controller is a God given gift, Thats one improvement which I loved so much. (I'm extremely Lazy while I play games)
