It was a good list but I believe Dark Souls should be in it too :S

Sonic Generations made it, Arkham City was top 3, and Skyward Sword got #1? I like this list.

The Witcher 2 didn't achieve a great level of mainstream success, unfortunately.

It's a great list, they also posted a video of the 11-20 best games of 2011 as picked by their forum members as well.

The list indeed isn't based on the actual top 10, instead it's a nostalgiac, mainstrem and generic list. How the hell is witcher 2 and shogun 2 absent from that list?

The four critically highest rated games of the year were placed in the top four slots. Looks legit to me.

Sales, and recognition by the average gamer. It sold very well in Europe... but sold somewhat poorly stateside.

Sonic Generations deserves the number 10 spot from what I played of the demo and heard from people's impressions including somemy friends.It is one hell of a sonic game.It is a massive improvement over previous sonic games including colors from what I heard.CODMW3 doesn't even deserve to be put in that list because of what I seen from it.

not a bad list don't really agree with MVC but it's finally good to see a list that doesn't put skyrim at the top

ScrewAttack always favor old schoool games/characters/nostalgia. Thats the point of their whole idoelogy/movement/website/fan following. All of them that work at Screwattack andall of their fans are people who are in love with retro style games and old school video games.
