KH3 would sell a lot of 360's in Japan but why help a console sell a few more thousand (perhaps million?) when it can just go on a system with a base of over 3 million already, and sell more consoles as well?

Why would Squenix care how much the 360 sells? It's not their job to help MS out of the hole it's in in Japan. Though KH on 360 would definitely raise sales of 360s, the sales of KH would go down. Which means less profit for SE. Also, its sales in the west would be especially pitiful, since 360 gamers don't like anime style or kiddy games.

Why would they do that if wii and ps3 sales are better then xbox 360 sales in japan and thats where that game sells best? Doesnt make no sense unless MS pays them tons of money, besides why would they abandon the fans of KH3 when most of the fans owned a ps2. So I cant see them saying KH3 or they would be abandoning the main base for where that game sells.

Unless they get some kind of "incentive", then it could become a very clever move. It's cheaper for Microsoft to buy an exclusive then trying to develop something as good themselves, and at the same time SE could test the market for exclusives on x360 with no or little financial risk. Win-win situation.
