...and stated that GTA4 would prove to be a big part in a console's success; are cows ready to conceed then, based on their own logic, that the 360 is the king? Since GTA4 sold far better on the 360 (to the tune of over 60% of the 6 million sold)?

I don't think many honestly expected GTa4 to sell better on PS3 due to the installed base difference. However what is going around is that the attach rate of PS3-GTA will be better, which is true.

We won't know till months if they were right though, as cows predicted a larger increase for hardware over the X360's increase mainly.

This is the question I have asked many cows. I am mearly stating that their logic backfired.

You asked if cows were ready to concede that the 360 was king. I said "yes" and proceeded to call the 360 king. I think you failed to read exactly what you wrote... try again, friend.

The Attach rate on the 360 is higher than the ps3 but only by a tiny margin

60% of 6 million is 3.6 million units which is about 19% of the install base of the 360s

40% of 6 million is 2.4million units which is about 18% of the ps3 install base

This is that the 360 and ps3 user base is at 19 and 13 million respectively

40% of 6 million equals 2,400,000

18.7 million divided by 3,600,000 equals 5.19

12.3 million divided by 2,400,000 equals 5.13

So according to microsofts numbers on GTA4. There is one GTA sold for every 5.19 360s sold and 5.13 ps3s sold. Pretty much equal attach rate. No fanboy wins here. Only gamers do.
