Hopefully all the Sonic team will provide is background info for Sonic and the characters and will just let BioWare do what they do best.

I wanted an original new IP but of all games Sega had to give Bioware, it had to be Sonic!?!? Imagine a Skies of Arcadia sequel developed by Bioware. Now that would've been quite amazing.

This could turn out to be freakishly awesome....or a horrible abomination.

Damit, I wanted a D&D universe game like Icewind Dales, Neverwinter Nights or Baldur's Gate, not a RPG based on a rodent that hasn't been a part of any great games since the 90s!

You hang around on Neogaf to much, that's the same exact words they're using over there.

there is nothing wrong with Sonic, just more bitter tears from people because Bioware are making a Sonic game and not something on PC or consoles.

they should of just made this on the wii. it would definitly be more interesting if this game was on the wii, rather than the ds.

I'm pretty sure they announced a new Baldur's Gate a few months ago.

This RPG would be of the finest caliber if Bioware were interested in finally molding Sonic Sat AM instead of whatever watered down version of Sonic Sega probably wants to shove towards children. But let's face it, it's on the DS, and devs just are not ready to make an RPG more complex that "Sonic goes fast........VROOOM!"

Oh well...here's to finally being able to buy faster shoes for Sonic than his stable red ones. Not that I think Sega would allow his appearance to be changed because of it though.

No, there was only 1 Bioware RPG coming to DS as far as I know and it looks like this is the one.

Pray Bioware are given a good deal of control over this game. A years' worth development on a DS title is a long time.Articuno76

If they didn't intervene with Dimps who made all of their Sonic games for Nintendo portables, why would they intervene with Bioware?

Sonic Team isn;t the one developing it from what I understand, it's a SEGA-Bioware project as I understand it, not a ST-Bioware project. From the sounds of it SEGA is just there to provide a license and reap the rewards. Sounds like SEGA of America and EU are behind this not SEGA JP.
