Sega learned their lesson? New Aliens game being made by CA.

A new aliens game called Alien:isolation is in development. After the long awaited and long delayed Aliens CM came out and left a very untrusting taste in people mouths, people will be glad to know that the developers of Rome II............................................... Anyway, those people, will be working on the new Alien game. This could mean tons of content in the next Aliens game and better perception.

How much did CM sell? I thought it did pretty good, so this doesn't really surprise me.

Do they have any experience with FPS?

I'm getting the feeling that Sega will screw it's devs over. Unless it's a strategy game - and it won't be - it's a big waste of talent to use CA to make it.

They should have gotten Crytek, they'll need a good shooter to recover from Ryse. The only Creative Assembly game I played was Viking Battle For Asgard and it sucked like a Thai hooker's vacuum cleaner.

Please don't mess this up Sega!!...CM was a huge disappointment!

Unless this is actually an Aliens total war, where you control giant armies of Predators, Aliens, marines with giant mechs into battle... Actually, that'd be very awesome.

Aliens:CM was the very worst game I've ever played, and that's quite a statement. Even Aliens: Infestation on Nintendo DS is infinitesimally superior to this game. Anyway, this CA game is not FPS but TPS and is based on Alien, not Aliens so here's hoping there'll be some hiding, using improvised gadgets, necessity of fixing devices and machines falling apart, intensified focus on individual Alien encounters which will emphasize their uncanny intelligence. Anyway, this is the last Aliens game from SEGA, as that executive who pushed for this franchise is no longer with them and the license was for 4 games, and this is the fourth.

my first choice would have been Monolith but WBIE appears to be suffocating the studio with a plastic bag over their head, their days are probably numbered

and Crysis 2 was a lot of fun, and the CryEngine is visually pretty impressive even on consoles, didn't play the third game though and I had no desire to it looked stupid, but the second game was a lot of fun and was actually playable, hermits only seem to care bitch the most it and all they got videos online for os running around the environment enjoying the mod enhancements to visual quality without any regard for the gameplay

This. Hopefully they find a way to return the aliens to their terrifying and frighteningly intelligent roots, instead of being cannon fodder and mindless insects.

CA has separate studio for this kind of projects. Their strategy devs are working on new Total Wars and Warhammer.

its a stealth/horror fps featuring ripley's daughter. since there is 50 year game between the two movies, it kinda make sense.

I hope its more like a survival horror/fps similar to AVP on the Jag. Or at least as good as AVP2 was. Been waiting years for another good Alien game. Somehow though after reading about it, I get the impression Ripleys daughter will be a clone and have Xenamorph genes and do weird inhuman shit.

I wonder if gearbox will ever be hired to make another game other than borderlands again.... I wouldn't trust them to. Hope the aliens game worksout.
