Sega Saturn Was The Best Of All TIme!

well with the system wars going in full steam right now I read a really funny article talking about how saturn was better than playstation. Everyone knows it wasn't, but take a die hard nerd who loved the system with a sense of humor and you have a few laughs.

atari jaguar 64!!! that was the true winner right there......i never felt so bad than a few months after I got that for my birthday because I knew that my parents had just wasted almost $300 on probably one of the worst game systems of all time.

Saturn was pretty good but when I read that Tom Kalinske wanted Sega to go with a system designed by Lockheed Martin or whoever it was that made their arcade board I never really forgave Sega of Japan for their idiocy. Sega was the world leader in 3D games and they come out with a 2D powerhouse then Sony comes out with a system designed around 3D graphics and blows them out of the water. They redeemed themselves with Dreamcast to a certain extent.

Don't get me wrong Saturn had some great games but they just weren't what they should or could have been.

OMFG RIval Schools!!!! lol .......skies and grandia 2 were masterpieces.......i remember loving Street fighter 3rd strike........and MDK2 was outrageously good....but then again i rembember the bad ones like blue stinger lol....at the time i loved that game.....o yeah and D2...god there were alot of games

I don't know about best system of all time but if it had made it a full generation it very well could have been. You forgot Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2.

Yeah, Saturn bombed, but to me Virtua Fighters Megamix ALONE made the system worth having.

I don't know about best system of all time but if it had made it a full generation it very well could have been. You forgot Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2.

lol I did, Marvel vs Capcom was my first purchase. And Rival Schools Project Justice = a very underrated fighter. It was wacky and fun with some clever hidden chracters if I remember.
