Their most succesful Western-centric IPs have been; the Sonic-series (multiplatform), the Total War-series (PC), and the Football Manager-series (PC). Other than that, I don't see any other big successes in the West. Aliens: Colonial Marines is not out yet but the last game, Aliens vs. Predator, was quickly abandoned on consoles after launch. The PC version of the game was support for much longer by Sega.

Besides, with all of their franchises, limiting themselves to just mobile games would make no business sense. Mobile platforms couldn't properly do games like the Total War and Virtua Fighter series'. Sega's been going through tough times lately, sure, but they aren't so bad off that they're going to just do mobile games.
