Sega is going to hold an event related to Valkyria Chronicles Duel (the browser/mobile card game) on July the 21st, and while that will probably make everyone shrug with utter indifference, theres a little detail in the announcement that could spark a small ray of light on the anguished hearts of the fans of the franchise.

The announcement says that something related to Valkyria Chronicles is going to happen that day during a live broadcast on Nico Nico

Anyway its good news but even if they do announce a new Valkyria Chronicles game, its hard to get excited seeing how Valkyria Chronicles 3 didnt get localize to the west.

Valkyria Chronicles was one of the best games last gen and by far the best console strategy game last gen. If they announce proper sequel for PS4 consider me hyped.

I really hope for the best of news now... Valkyria Chronicles are one of my favorite PS3 games of all time.

I hope it's something good. Valkyria Chronicles was my favorite game this gen. I'd be happy with VC3 for the Vita.

I mean, they released Project X Zone and that had VC3 characters in it. They should release the damn game here so people have at least some notion of who they are... I'm just getting my damn hopes up and they'll probably be shattered.
