Never got around to picking it up but am interested in playing it. Was initially concerned about the difficulty of the game when I watched some gameplay of it when it came out. Now that the Activision/Blizzard/King acquisition is setting up to go through I’m just going to wait and try it out on Game Pass.
Legendary game, but also the fromsoft title i spent the least time in (110h). Deserves to have a sequel, but its not needed. What's needed is just taking this combat system, add more rpg mechanics, and make a new ip in a different setting with this kind of parry based combat system. All i am trying to say here is that i really want a fromsoft title that is in space😭

Maybe Bethesda can help them?

The only ones Bethesda is able to help is 343i
@Archangel3371: Activision were only 3rd party publishers of the game. From owns the IP so I doubt they would want to make it exclusive
Personally the easiest Soulsborne game
It's harder than souls games.
How to see if someone learned to parry or not. :P
I really like the game. Completed it two times. My only complaint of sorts is that basically all the tools and skills are useless.
That said, don't think I want a sequel. I'd love to see a new Tenchu. I have never played Tenchu, but it would be cool to see a Sekiro that focus more on stealth.
Is it back to sales matter after cows went rogue and made it all about review scores for ST87FIELD because 👩🚀🚀🪐✨💫 had millions upon millions playing in the first few days 🤣

Thank you Phil!
And about 10k of those actually finished the game…
I made that number up, but I’m curious what the true number is 🤔
@SolidGame_basic: great game played it three time the combate mechanic is insanely challenging and fun
@Litchie: You're right, I could never get the timing right.
Yeah, it's hard, but once you get it down, it's almost as if the game is too easy. Can understand why it would be the easiest Souls game for some. Personally took me longer to get good in it than the Dark Souls games, though.
I'm a big Fromsoft fan but I have yet to get this one. Without multiplayer (and with me being short on time and money) I don't feel rushed to get this game until there is a real good deal (less than $10, maybe $15). With the Souls series, Bloodborn, and Elden Ring I felt I had to get in early or suffer the pain of being invaded by super powered players that have learned tons of exploits.
I have also not gotten Armored Core 6 for the same reasons.

No such thing as being a big fromsoft fan, and not having even tried the game when its been out for years.
As a fan of FromSoft's games, having played all of their Soulsbornes, I wasn't a fan of Sekiro. There's something about the very Japanese asthestic that turns me off, and it's not just Sekiro but any game that is heavily Japanese in nature. Granted, I gave Sekiro a try, logging in close to 5-10hrs, but I eventually dropped it. My biggest pet peeve was the abundance of repeat bosses . I do like the deflection system in the game though, and I hope they add that element to their future Souls or Elden Ring games. It would be sweet.
@kathaariancode: Gosh, it's been a while. The horse guy, the giant snake, and others. It's been so long. :/

The closest thing I can think of is Armored Core. But not sure if that has space missions.
@hardwenzen: Space-themed FromSoftware game would be cool. Perhaps it will be called Space Souls, Dark Stars, or Starbourne lol.
They should just steal Metroid from Nintendo, and create a Metroid game. Have been asking this for like 10 years, but Fromsoft, with their art team and amazing atmosphere their games have, they'd be an 11/10 dev for the job.

Nononononono, not what i want. AC6 has no atmosphere.
What i want is something more similar to Dead Space, but signicantly bigger and primarily melee based. Ranged weapons would be in the game as well, but i'd like to see some kind of a gimmick that doesn't allow you to spam ranged attacks, and the weapon would simply overheat after 1-3 bullets depending on the caliber. I would also like them to introduce dismemberement because it would only makes sense to blow the legs of some creature, to then execute it with your laser greatsword. With great environment story telling that fromsoft is know for, space is literally the perfect setting for just that.

Never played Armored Core, but it reminds me of Zone of the Enders. That game certainly has atmosphere.
So what you really mean is a Soulslike in space...
That reminds me, I was thinking the other day how ineffective it would be to use guns in space. They wouldn't work in space like they do on Earth. If you shoot a gun in space, the recoil would send you flying back through space! You could, of course, use laser guns instead. But like you said, that would cause overheating and it would require time to cool down and recharge... In other words, melee combat would be far more effective in a space scenario. More space games should be using melee combat instead of shooting.
...Anyway, a Soulslike in space isn't a bad idea at all.
@Sushiglutton: The true number is around 2.5 - 3.5 million, which is actually ridiculously high for being such a hard game.
@Chutebox: Its the hardest Souls game by far on your first playthrough...
But its the easiest Souls game by far on your third, fourth and fifth playthrough.
@kvallyx: why should Phil be thanked exactly? That makes no freakin sense cause of two minor details:
1. MS didnt own AB when Sekiro was made
2. AB were only publishers, they not only didnt make the game they also do not own the IP, From does

Dude, I was kidding. I even say it when Sony releases a game. God of War? Thank you Phil!
It's SW, just roll with it :)

Well yea, in zero g, the recoil would send you flying, but if you're exploring some ship in space, there's gonna be some kind of artificial gravity for gameplay purposes.
Exploring a massive ship that was lost in space, or investigating a huge undergroud base on some planet, could be pretty awesome with Fromsoft's level design and artistic awesomeness. Give it some HP lovecraft theme to it, and its guaranteed to be amazing. Another setting they could explore would be the depths, like an underwater city similar to Bioshock. I am just imagining so much artistic goodness from their artists😭
