Im thinking about trying it out on pc, what are some things to lure me over
It's $1, just bite the bullet.
No you have to pay for XBL though and its just a haggle better off going PC gaming for free and buying some games on sale and never looking back.

.....He said he wanted to try it on PC......there is no XBL.....
Did you even read the OP?

its 1 dollar on PC? Where?
I don't know about PC, but for Xbox, you get like a couple hundred of titles for $15 a month, which includes XBL. You get discounts on games cause you have XBL and GP, including game and DLC discounts. You're getting EA Play as well. MS is looking to get rid of XBL, making XBL free and only charging for GP, once enough people switch over to GP. That'll be huge. As someone else said, the trial is $1.
You can play a ton of games for very little money. I’m not sure what else could lure you in…
Buying what you want? Whenever you want it? How is that worse that worse than GamePass buying games you have access to an ocean using gamepass you got access to a small pool. This is what it is play what you want when you want it. DOn't go to pool go to the beach.

They got some of those isometric RPGs on there, and I know PC gamers are mega-whores for that kind of stuff.

@mrbojangles25: explain
It's sort of a stereotype/joke--one that I find kind of funny, as a PC gamer--that we spend thousands of dollars on our computers and claim we are going to play games that look like this:
But we end up playing games that look like this:
Which reminds me, I need to give Underrail a go tonight!
As others have said, it's $1. There's no greater selling point than that. And there are ways to get three years for around $150. That is a massive amount of gaming for a very little cost. I'm not the biggest fan of GP but definitely think it's something people should try and decide for themselves. And, lucky enough, MS wants you to try it and is practically giving it away.
For further explanation as to why I'm not a massive fan... GP just doesn't have a ton that I actually want to play. I'm not the kind of gamer who is willing to just play "something." Usually I want a specific game, and that isn't really what GP is about. However, the price is a good one, and I believe that the exclusive games are coming. Adding all of the Bethesda titles recently really fleshed it out. Unfortunately, I've played all of those. I am a subscriber of GP for PC. I also have PS Now. And a Switch. I'm a gamer first, so just try to express an unbiased opinion. Try being the operative word, lol.
@lamprey263: whats that
Isometric RPGs are the games people beef up their PCs to play and have ROFLMFAO'gasms that consoles can't compete with their rig.

I mean, you CAN play both those games on PC. And have them look amazing as well
When I put together my PC this year, getting gamepass allowed me access to a bunch of games my friends also have on gamepass. I think that's one of the biggest draws.
Sea of thieves has been a blast.
@sheevpalpamemes: it's cheap enough to start a trial period and test it. See if it fits your desires for gaming! It sure seems like gamepass is the great disruptor of the industry and could very well bust apart the need for shelling out 70 bones for a single game.
It's really difficult to help someone who doesn't have the intelligence to just check out what's available for Gamepass on PC and decide for themselves if it's worth it or not and instead goes to a forum and says 'sell me on this'.
Personally can't get my head round this level of stupidity.
If you're waiting for the next big game to come out that isn't coming to Gamepass- it's the perfect thing to hold you over.
@blueinheaven: no need to be rude.
99 percent of forums can be solved with google now, so why even post?
”I spent $2k on a gaming PC and now I need you guys to sell me on a service which gives me access to tons of games for ~$10/month”
