your really not going to get a lot for a 360. a second hand one cant be worth anymore that £50 - £60. you'd most likely get more trading some game towards the PS3. and yeah it defo worth owning a PS3 but i think its worth owning both
Selling consoles is stupid, just save up. It may take some time to slowly gather the money, but look on the bright side. When you finally get a PS3 there will be tons of games for you to play on it.
Same as I did, now I have Resistance 1 and 2, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone 2, Heavenly Sword, MGS 4. and Valkyria Chronicles to play. With InFAMOUS and Uncharted 2. Maybe God of War 3.
You have a good number of 360 titles now, so I wouldn't do what you're thinking.
Save for the PS3, that way you won't get an empty feeling if the PS3 doesn't meet your expectations.
I've sold consoles before. I get alot of money in return. Also, I'll sell it for store credit and use that for the PS3.nelfer320No matter how much you could get though, unless its higher than what you paid for it, it would be a waste to sell it. You'd be limiting your options instead of gaining more, and thats just silly.

But Gamespot rips you off on getting store credit. You may get 'alot' of money in return. But it would not be worth it. But it sounds like you made up your mind.

Please explain more clearly for me.
[QUOTE="nelfer320"][QUOTE="Skittles_McGee"] I think you're missing the point here.Skittles_McGeeYeah I think I did. Please explain more clearly for me. The point is that selling a console means you're losing options, which is never a good idea, even if you're getting another console. In the end, you just get nowhere. What options? I don't understand. I sell what I don't use anymore especially since it sits in my room untouched for months.

I trade in at Gamecrazy, they give me a bit more. They had a deal a while ago that you got quite a bit when you traded towards another console. I think its over now though.

The gaming industry isn't going to die off tomorrow. There's going to be more games for each console in the future, so if you sell one, you lose the ability to play the games for that console. Okay so what games in the genres that I play are coming out for the 360 in the coming years!? Please name 10!
are you planning on selling your 360 or just buying a ps3? if you want a ps3 i'd say go for it, if enough games interest you. Selling the 360 i'd say no, something interested you to get it in the first place, and a game or something might come back around that you want and you'll regret it, like me with the ds (selling twice lols). I will never sell consoles again now.Mckenna1845I got it cause alot of people had it! I never did that though! I always get what I want! Not what others have!

Whatever, its your money. Waste it however you want, I don't care.

Save up some cash then buy a PS3, and Keep your 360.
I don't have space for another console. Also, I have alot of games. If the 360 and PS3 are similar, why have both? Huh? They're similar not the same. They both have there pros and cons but when you have both there's only pro's except for Wii's fun motion control but other than that your g2g.There are literally tons of questions to ask you.
How much do you enjoy playing those 4 exclusives? Does paying the 50.00 per year for Live matter to you? Are you ready to deal with a service that doesn't have quite as many features as Live but is free and is improving? Do you have an HDTV? Are you into blu-ray movies? Does Sony's future lineup have you excited? Are you ready to deal with multiplats sometimes being inferior in rather miniscule ways?
It goes on and on. Seriously, you're going to lose a good amount of money trading in your PS3. I suggest you consider everything everyone has said and make your decision based on what games YOU want to play and what system your friends are on.
BTW, feel free to add me as a friend if you should happen to get a PS3.
go for it, you cant go wrong with either one
i sure as hell wouldnt sell my 360 for a ps3 though
im trying to sell my ps3 as we speak
To answer ur questions: 1. The exclusives are Crackdown, Kameo, Fable 2, and Tales of Vesperia. I have beaten them and now got bored with them. I don't feel like playing them again. 2. Yes cause I find it outrageous to pay to play online when I have to spend the same amount on games! 3. I don't even mind since I rarely play online. I play solo most of the time. 4. Yes. Its a Sony 32"inch LCD HDTV 5. Yes for I rent movies often. I can start renting blu-ray movies when I get a PS3 6. Not a whole lot but I like it. 7. Yes for I have played games like GTA IV on the a cousin's PS3. I found no differences what so ever. There are literally tons of questions to ask you.

Selling your PS3? Why? Need money to pay that XBL fee? Just joking of course. But seriously, why would you sell it. Celtics are done this year btw.go for it, you cant go wrong with either one

Celtics are done this year btw. ive had a great run with my ps3, but i dont ever use it, i dont get any replay value for any of its games, i dont take any games online because i dont use psn (not saying its crap, all my friends own 360s and i'm usually on live) on top of that i guess i could use an extra few hundred bucks, im going to london this summer to see MJ! (lol) so more money would be nicego for it, you cant go wrong with either one

Never sell a console period, because you never know when a specific console will start getting games you want
Great idea, sell a bunch of your old games NOT the 360 system itself.I got rid of my first PS3 and regretted it so I since had to get another one. And now I'm more into my 360 again anyway and the PS3 has again fallen by the wayside. But I'm not about to sell it again cause I know a few months from now there will be a reason to use it again. BTW a refurbised 360 is selling on Gamestop right now for $170...and trust me if you were to sell yours you wouldnt even get close to that amount.
Never sell a console. Thats the worst decision you could ever make. That being said, multiplats tend to be better on 360. This is due to 360's hardware being easier to work with, so games tend to work better and multiplayer is always better in the 360 version of games. On top of that, 360 games tend to get exclusive DLC, which matters quite a bit. A PS3 is definitely worth owning though, but I would never recommend selling a console. Never. If you're into action adventure, fighting, and platformers though, you should pick up Little Big Planet, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Street Fighter 4 for PS3. Sounds like your thing. But in the end, don't sell your 360, you'll regret that in the long run.Skittles_McGee
Yeah that is pretty true.
I sold my Wii for a PS3 and was happy I did it at first, but now I may want to get a Wii again.
Just buy a PS3...You WILL regret it. I assure you. (Not that the PS3 is a bad console. You'll just be getting rid of a really good one.)
