selling a ps2 for xbox 360?

would selling my ps2 (including 20 games, 5 controlers, guitar hero guitar, buzz remotes, 2 microphones, and a dance dance revolution floor) be enough to cover maybe half of say a xbox bundle (200-350)? and if it is, is it worth it to get an xbox. ihave never had one, and would reallylike one.

If you could cover the rest of the cost, I say go for it.

youd probably be able to afford it by selling all of that I guess, you wouldnt be able to get any games right away though. I personally never recommend selling one system for another, but your choice not mine.

i also forgot to mention that i have been forbidon to buy another system without selling one in return. and the ps2 is the one i play the least

Don't know about the first part, but the XBOX is pretty worthless right now, especially since it's online closed. DON'T get it. On a second thought you would find one for dirt cheap, so even if it was pretty useless it wouldn't cost much. I'd say just get it with a copy of fable 1, Jade empire, Dead or Alive, and Conker. The rest of the library is inferior to the 360.nintendo-4life

an Xbox is actually amazing right now if he never had one, heck pretty much any platform would be seeing as he has all the games released since its launch accumulated up that he hasnt played yet. What we look at as old news would be something completely novel and new for him.

Dosent make sense why your gettng a 360. you should go for the real upgrade a PS3 and not downgrade. you'll still pay lots of money even when you get a 360 ( playing online for example ) but anyways this will probably be locked since it has nothing with SW

exactulaly. all of the games i would love, come out only for xbox or ps3 and the graphics are way better on the xbox anyway. but what made me really want to buy it was see kinect!

Really Kinect? You have to be kidding? You sound like you are young? Hey whatever floats your boat. I think both systems are great but do see the 360 moretailored to mp online shooting(GEOW, HALO,CODMW, LFD)while the PS3 is more about the single playerexperience with games like HR, Flower,DS, UC2(great online also), MGS4, and GOW3. Really it is just a preference but I can't see someone chosing a system for motion controls.

Yes, because a PS3 is an upgrade from a PS2 and a 360 is not. I really can't understand the logic on this board sometimes.

On topic, yes, I think a new console would be a good idea, whichever it be.
