From a PC Gamer's point of view, that also owns a 360/PS3/Wii, here are my thoughts...
I find the games on Wii to be the most refreshing, than the PS3, and finally the 360 since most games are on PC as well. Price varies, but I personally wouldn't factor that in, as gaming is expensive over the years, whether it's console or PC gaming.
While the Wii is still begging for more games, by next year there should be a flood of games from developers trying to cash in on the popularity, which looks to be the lead console by year's end for sure. It offers the best gaming experience for a gamer like myself, as the games differ greatly from my pc games. I love the control scheme, as it's the closest any console has come to feeling like a mouse, as the wii mote works great. I'm sure many games will come in the future that really utilize the wiimote and seperate itself from the other two consoles. Metroid, Smash Brothers, and Mario Galaxy are worth keeping an eye out for.
The 360 offers an easy plug and play experience online. While I don't find many 360 games appealing, I do like it's arcade that MS offers, which has an excellent choice of games to play ranging from Doom to UNO. It isn't the best built console, but MS has offered a 3 year warranty that should pacify any concerns. If you're into sci-fi games, keep an eye out for Mass Effect as it looks great and is being made by Bioware, the makers of Baldur's Gate and Knights of the Old Republic. Halo is also the system's flagshig game, but as a PC Gamer, Halo is nothing special to me, and I would recommend games like Half Life 2 over it anyday of the wee, which is coming to 360 in October.
The PS3 is a well built console, and I find myself using the blu-ray player more than anything, and more than using any of the three consoles combined actually. The PS3 is lacking a bit in the online offerings and games, but it is getting the new Home service which will hopefully turn it around. If it doesn't, oh well, I just want the exclusive games for it anyway. Also, it doesn't have an "arcade" feature like the 360, but it does offer great games every so often including PS1 titles. One of the biggest pluses is the backward compatibility with the PS2, which gives it an amazing library of games to play. Some games to keep an eye out for are Heavenly Sword, Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Uncharted.
