Seriously!! Theres like only 100 people on K2 online now? Criminally underrated

I've been checking all the servers, and theres like 4 games with 20-30 people in each game. I can't believe this....Theres !$#%! no body on. This game is AMAZING! The online is some of the best games have to offer.

So, that being said, do you think K2 is criminally under rated or did it just get off on the wrong foot?

I think it got off on the wrong foot since this game looks and plays too good sometimes imo.

Its not an underrated game. Its just being outclassed by other games. (U2, GOW3 etc)

the game is good but it has nothing to keep you going. ppl get bored of it once they unlock all the weapons and stuff. its just missing that little something. that doesnt make it under rated. the game got 9s across the board, which gives it no reason for ppl not to play it. the ppl have spoken

But I can see why the community would be decreasing over long periods of time.

I play it still from time to time, lot's of people to play, but I never really counted. I just jump in and play, and some people are masters of every map, lol.

killzone is better for single player. it's just too slow and sluggish for multiplayer. it works in single player, because it's so immersive......but multiplayer needs to be quick and responsive.

Your options that youve selected to locate sservers must be changed in some sort of way, because im looking at the servers and i see the whole list filled with 30+ servers totaling to 1000+ people online...

TO THE MAJORITY the MP is unattractive and doesnt have that "addictive" gameplay which makes play leave VERY fast and not come back, trust me i know a couple of people who tried this game for like a week and just stopped. its because of the heavy movement, KZ2 has the SLOWEST pace in all of FPS EVER!!!!! people want quick action and high K/D. GG tried to make the MP different from the rest of FPS'es and they did but it did not pay off at all. they tried to make it slow pace so that it would be hard to get headshots which are one hit kills (which is nice) but it really hinders the gameplay overall. I lthink GG should make the SP have the heavyweight feel and MP needs to be in a faster pace everything else was great, KZ2 has some of the best MP maps this gen and online features like clan battles and valor points etc... KZ3 could be a really HUGE hit if GG does some adjustments.LenGen

I have to agree a lot with what you said and indeed a lot of people didnt it like it. But many of us did indeed adjust to the heavy feel and enjoy it. I think there should be a choice or option.

I say this all the time, but the online's gameplay is fun, but the way GG's set up the servers its awful. The only servers you find are pistol only, hour long games, or 1 map servers. Its awful. Its a prime example of what happens when you give the player to much control without having any dedicated servers to back it up, it turns into a cluster ****.

Why play KZ2 when you can play Modern warfare 2 or Uncharted 2

Blame Battlefield Badcompany 2.

The game is great until everyone unlocks the rocket launcher, then all you see is rocket and grenade spam. Thats when I quit playing online.

Agreed grenade spam and that rocket launcher.I hate when all I see is one of those things flying towards me when I play.

I'll be picking this up when I can get it for like ~$20 along with AC II.

KZ2 wins because the game has fricken bots in addition to online players. I miss those days. I think that KZ2 for your close combat FPS, BC2 for your big open world FPS, and Uncharted 2 for your TPS is actually a great combination, UNLESS you gotta have split screen otherwise, there's Resistance games and Warhawk. Though, the majority of gamers in the US have no clue since every thinks that MW2 and Halo 3 are the only multiplayers worth playing (well the majority at least. And no this isn't a shot at either of those games either).

It is criminally underrated. Killzone 2 is one of the few online games I actually took the time to rank all the way up in.

The game just wasnt fun, and when I bought it the controls were still god awful. I sold itfor Infamousbefore they supposedly fixed them.

I still hop on from time to time. I usually get my ass handed to me though since it controls much differently than other FPS's that I play. It takes me a few minutes to get back into the swing of things. There are just so many other online FPS's that it's hard to choose. My friend's list is almost always people playing MW2, CoD4, Bad Company 2, and a few of them playing MAG

That's right people. KZ3 may be better than KZ2 and better FPS's may come out, BUT: KZ2 HAS BOTS and that's a great thing!mD-

The multiplayer is fun. I don't care for it though. I like Uncharted 2 and MW2 multiplayer more. That being said, I'm not big on those types of multiplayer games. LBP is still my favorite online game this gen, and SSBB is still my favorite offline multiplayer game.
