Settle down Cows about Ratchet and Clank! Remember Lair?

I know you guys haven't had an exclusive to cheer about in a while, but don't get owned again. It looks good but not great. Tons of 360 games look better so I'm not impressed. I predict 8-8.5 here on gamespot. Don't even compare this with the likes of Mario Galaxy because I don't want to read all of the damage control when Galaxy owns it.

I've just read alot of threads putting this game through the atmosphere so lets try to keep some perspective here on system wars. Just think Lair and bring your hype back down to earth.

Sunshine was not produced or directed by game god Miyamoto, or alot of the Nintendo specialist. Should I name the 2 dozen mario games that are excellent or #1 on the all time charts? I don't think so.

in lair's case thatw as stupid. it's clear that R&C is a solid game. not saying it will be AAA or a system seller, but not a failure like Lair. it's clear from all hands on reports.

i have to agree that it's a lot of money for a 6 to 7 hour game (not 5).

But it really is a great experience. You should rent it at least. adn finish it. the final battle is truelly great.

I was very sceptic about HS, but i'm VERY glad i played it.

R&C is fun... remember that. FUN.like before achivments came and screwed everything upniall077

i don't hunt achievements myself, couldn't care less. but i do know they give a lot of people a lot of fun. I did it in 1 game: Crackdown. and it's a blast in that game.

Doesn't matter, it does to some degree but R& C is an excellent IP and Mario hasn't been untouchable for quite some time. Super Mario 64 only had 34 reviews as well which definitely helped it out. Mario is not unbeatable and I would argue that Crash Bandicoot was in many ways better than Mario 64 (the later games at least).

Well 4 out of the 5 R&Cs got a AA, so it would be a AA franchise (which is what it is hyped). While I am not a fan of R&C, so I may not pickit upfor my PS3,it does look very fun.

You fool, Rachet and Clank is an established AA-AAA franchise, made by brilliant developers that have flawless recent record.

Also the demo is already out on the PS Store, and nearly everyone that played it loved it.

A couple of points

- Many PS3 owners have actually played the game so I'm sure they have some idea of how good the game is.

- This stuff about it being only AA hyped is crap, PS3 owners in the last week or so have been talking and hyping this game on AAA level. If anything I'd say the hype is 8.5-9.0. There is no way you can tell me that if this game gets an 8.0, it lived up to the hype of PS3 owners on Gamespot.
