Is the PS3's RSX an improved version of the 7800 or downgraded?, and would the xeno's be as good as a 7900?

its not upgraded or downgraded. It just shares simalr structure. Nvidia and sony used to say it was more powerful that even teh 7900 but they stopped. I wonder why. :roll:

Different companies, the X1900 is ATIs equivalent of the 7900 and the 2900 is ATI's new card and equivalent of the nvidia 8800. So going by this the Xenos would be the better card compared to the RSX if the RSX really is just a tweaked 7900 or lower.
