Shadow Complex only 4-5 hours long

Cookigaki hates it when developers states their games are -blank- hours long, when it's shorter. Still, longer than some retailer games, and it's only 15$

I don't get the hype for shadow complex.

Heh...wonder what all they counted to get 12 hours. All these collectibles maybe? :roll: And they say it should be a full retail game.

When devs say that their game is _____ long, they generally mean the time it takes to complete the game 100%.

That's just the way I see it anyway.

And Fat Princess is a multiplayer game, so it doesn't have "replayability" at all.

Well, it will last far more to me considering i´ll explore every part of the game while playing on the hardest dificulty!

Are we seriously complaining over a $15 Arcade game only being 5 hrs long?

You can't judge a games length based on the fastest possible time to play through the game.... if you could, then you could say Resident Evil 5 is only a 1.5 hour long game.

Or Super Mario World is only a 12 min. 10 sec long game......

I'm not saying finishing Shadow Complex in 4-5 hours is the fastest possible time..... my point is, it certainly isn't 4-5 hours if you explore the entire map and get all the upgrades.

The devs said that the game could be finished very quickly if you know the game very well, where to go and when to go there.... and there are shortcuts as well.

Anyway this game is gonna be awesome..... AAA no doubt. Well AAA on metacritic at least... I don't even try to guess whats going on inside of Gamespot reviewers minds.

Also, is anyone annoyed thaqt call of juarez is too short. Not even worth buying, i was looking forward to that game 'n' all. Guess i better get it for PC seeing as it looks amazing too.

There was apparently a 1 hour 4 minute speed run through the game. The game still looks amazing though. Definitely worth the 15. navstar29

The point is that it's ridiculous to compare a multiplayer game to a single-player game in terms of "replayability". Fat Princess wouldn't have much replay value if you played the same match over and over.

I personally don't see anything wrong with that--"4" to "5" hours is long enough for me.
