Im getting some massive castlevania vibe from this.

Lord Of The Rings is a happy whimsical land. This is trying to be gritty to appeal to young people who hate colorful and imaginative things. Waste of time.

No, The Hobbit is happy whimsical land. Happy whimsical land doesn't tend to have central themes like progressive physical and mental trauma on its protagonist.

Also, I just want BFME2 on Origin. Is that too much to ask?

Castlevania!? What? Because the main guy has long black hair (I prefer Soma myself)? The game is a total AssCreed clone, with some Batman abilities thrown in (WB after all). Nothing remotely like Castlevania, and certainly not an RTS.

I'm more stoked for this game than I am for the next Dragon Age or Witcher games. This CGI trailer will do nothing for anybody though, so lets hope they have some actual gameplay at E3. The previous gameplay vid from a while back was a lot more interesting...

Based on my hunch , i think it's gonna be a 7/10 good game . it just doesn't impress me as it should.

I hear the Shadow of Frodo will launch along side this just to keep the LOTR vibe. LOL.

No, they got it right. Mordor is in the Lord of the Rings and Hodor is in Game of Thrones. It can get confusing, I know.

omg, CGI trailers need to fucking die in a fire. The whole purpose of a trailer is to show footage of what you're selling, assholes. That's why we watch these things to begin with.

Anyways I'm not very interested in this game. Looks like Assassins Creed with a Lord of the Rings skin. **** Assassins Creed.

Calm down mate, it only showed some of the story. We've already been shown gameplay footage.

Not the game for me, to be honest, like someone else it's to gritty I do get that the world is gritty in parts, but he made parts amazingly colourful and lovely places, I mean is it just me, or is Lord Of The Rings just perfectly set up for an open world SandBox game, I mean he's already made the map, the history, the different town's, the whole back log of information is there and just waiting to be made, I mean it is perfect for an RPG I just don't get all these linear games it's right there all you have to do is create it all and make it an RPG I mean Elder Scrolls or the people behind the Witcher should get hold of this license, it's perfect for it, I can even picture how it would be, it's crazy this hasn't happened yet

^ Lords Of The Rings Online Although granted, it's an MMORPG and now old as **** but it is incredibly faithful to the source material and probably the best licensed game.

Overall though, third age total war (a Medieval 2 total conversion) is probably the best Lord Of The Rings game imo.

It's made with love and unlike BFME, captures the scale much better.

This game in comparison basically looks liked "hey guys, Assassins Creed makes shit tons of money and we have this license that also made a **** ton of money.... money!!!!"
