Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Croft Mansion DLC out today

Good news for season pass holders as the third DLC expansion released today.

Rise had some Croft Manor DLC as well, 10th anniversary DLC, did you play it?

How was it? I'm a big fan of the reboot Tomb Raider games, but I must admit: I haven't played much of the DLC.

@R4gn4r0k: the daytime part is about exploration and puzzle solving and focuses more on the storytelling and development of Lara’s backstory. The nightmare part is a third person shooter where waves of zombies come at you as you progress through the mansion.

Both were fun

I guess I will check out Croft Manor for Rise one day, but I'm not buying any Shadow DLC yet :P

I still haven't even opened the game and I got it for Christmas from myself. It'll have to wait until after RE2 Remake and whenever the hell I beat the story of RDR2.

Good timing I just finished my first play through last night (Got 100% completion :) ).

@jcrame10: I haven't paid that much for a game in years. For example, The Croft edition of Shadow of the Tomb Raider cost me £23 a couple of months ago.

Just downloaded a 1.2 GB patch, but doesn't look like it's this. Probably a pre-DLC update to set things up.

@GarGx1: you can get the PS4 for like 20 bucks brand new right now. I meant when it came out it was the standard $60 USD

I got the Croft Edition of SotTR on Black Friday for $45

Oh nice. I'm way behind on the dlc, but I'll get to it sometime.

Just an example of the price I pay for PC games. Honestly consoles cannot compete with key sites. The price I paid for SofTR (about a month after launch) is pretty standard issue even for pre-order and day one purchases.

Not the best discount I've seen for a game but right now I could get Resident Evil 2 Biohazard for £31.49 ($40) (could maybe get it cheaper on another site) where as on Steam it's £44.99 ($58) which I guess is the MSRP

On the up side I've seen some keysites selling console keys as well but the discounts don't appear to be as good, yet.

Yep. It took me a minute to realize you have to go to the PS store and still download it to get it.

Might as well check it out. Will be disappointing.

One thing I'm taking away from games releasing in october, november, december: just wait for the sale a month or even a few weeks later.

No point in buying day 1 anymore.

I'll wait for a release with all the dlc. Still need to get through rise of the tomb raider in my backlog.

I played the first dlc, I think it was the Forge and it was pretty shit, and have downloaded the Tower which I already know will be shit, so a safe bet is this will be shit also lol.

Anyone playing this? Where's the manor part?

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the first Tomb Raider game out of all of them (every single one) that I have stopped playing due to boredom.

Finally just started the game last night.
