Shadow of the Tomb Raider - September 14 2018

Go into the page information and you see this;

Its on the Wikipedia in the sequel section. "In December 2017, the official Tomb Raider Twitter account announced that "[their] journey together will begin with a major event in 2018".^[62]"

I love 2018 for gaming.

Glad to see the franchise didn't end with the Dave & Busters arcade game and that bad movie tie-in.

I will be all over this. Love the last 2 and have enjoyed some of the old Tomb Raiders over the years.

Awesome, I'm behind the reboot franchise so I will get this game someday- although I rarely will pay $60 for a game so will wait for a price drop.

Great news if true, I absolutely loved Tomb Raider and Rise of the Console Timed Exclusives.

hopefully its not another timed exclusive like the last game. By the time it came to PS4 my urge to play it was gone and now its been passed over by other games

Already know SE was gonna continue with another sequel since Rise of the Tomb Raider already had a cliffhanger so who didn't see this coming?

One things for sure, MS won't be getting this timely exclusive not after SE saw the results that almost truly hurt there reputation.

The end of the origins trillogy? So will we finally see where she gets the money for the plastic surgery to have huge boobs?

This has been one terrific reboot. Besting Uncharted in almost every way, IMHO. Now bring it on home, Lara. Do what Drake could not.

ROTR is not even that old and this game announce and release in few month. bet its a copy and paste.

Nice. I loved the last two games so I’m definitely onboard for this one.

Grossly inferior to Uncharted , but still playable on a generic level. Good filler type games.

Disagree there, Uncharted only wins in story and characters, and occasionally atmosphere.

They are about equal in set pieces, which are getting old in general.

Tomb Raider has more interesting combat, exploration, side quests, and puzzles.

Great news, an overall better set of games than Uncharted imo... just more to them.

TR2013 was good, Rise of the TR was great so I'm looking forward to this

I'm a fan of this. The first two in the reboot series were excellent games. This fall will be quite the one to remember for games, it seems.

Day one purchase, hell, I´ve played TR games since PS1 so no reason to quit now.

first 2 games were some of the easiest, casual games with one worst gameplay mechanics i have ever seen. perfect example of how not to make a game.

Crystal dynamics got the dude that directed UC Lost Legacy. They should copy how that game does for story, characters and combat. The reboots not as good as UC on all of those things, not as good overall.

Yeah it's weird, but I'm still having high hopes.

What? Rise of the Tomb Raider released in November of 2015. Shadow of the Tomb Raider if the release date holds, would be almost 3 years from from ROTR

It's because they're busy rebooting Legacy of Kain! Maybe... please.

Could be the case since we been hearing Crystal Dynamics is considering rebooting Legacy of Kain for some time and as long as someone from Crystal Dynamics is supervising Tomb Raider, I'm sure the game will turn out well.

Nah they are confirmed to be working on a MARVEL game, since Square Enix has a MARVEL license now.

It's supposed to be a game like Destiny, lootbox gathering grinding nonsense, because that is all the rage it seems... Eventhough Destiny 2 flopped hard.

Hmmmm... I might get RotTR.. I've heard there's more exploration and less QTEs in it than the first, which sounds good.. Is this true? It's also very cheap now. I hope I wont miss too much by not playing the first..
