Yeah looks great.
Looks like Devolver is the top publisher now when it comes to singleplayer FPS. Both this and Serious Sam 4 are day one buys for me.
Maybe. I think Bethesda are pretty strong. Doubt this game will reach the heights of Doom: Eternal. Deathloop also looks pretty great.
I think i will give this one a try. Skipped all the other ones, but this one looks pretty good. Wish you could play as a female and the game was in third person 🙃
Who would have thought a Duke Nukem clone would get three releases for this gen. Meanwhile Duke Nukem is absolutely dead.
Yeah it's strange to think that back then Duke Nukem was extremely popular while the original Shadow Warrior underperformed and was pretty much forgotten for a very longtime. And now it's Duke Nukem that is dead while Shadow Warrior got two games and a third one coming out in the future. Honestly I wish that Devolver Digital got the rights to Duke Nuken instead of Gearbox.
@AcidTango: Duke Nukem couldn't really exist in this age anyways if we're being honest without dramatically changing the character.
We kind of point to Duke Nukem Forever as the whipping boy, but their were plenty of Duke Nukem games prior and none of them were as good as Duke3D, the series dipped into the shitter even before lord Randy got his questionable fingers on it.

So like Heavenly Sword?
lol it was a bait for ghost.
@uninspiredcup:
Good point. It's just too bad that Randy Pitchford own the rights to Duke Nukem. I'm sure if a competent company owned Duke Nukem, they would do justice for the series though you're right that they would change Duke as a character in the modern world today.
Something didn't click with me about 2. Maybe one day I'll get back to it but I just couldn't get in to it.
This might actually give Doom: Eternal a run for its money in the "rip and tear" department.
....don't tell Ghost4Ever :P
Digging the style of this game. It's like Kung Fu Panda meets Quentin Tarantino.
He has hair.
Lo Wang is back... with hair.
Well, at least they didn't give him bangs. Then we'd have to call them "lo bangs"
Get it?
Because his name is Lo Wang.
Nyuk nyuk nyuk....

It was fun, but the loot and gear mechanic totally killed it for me. I hate that crap. Give me a gun or whatever every now and then when I've earned, sure, but don't make acquiring gear a big chunk of the game (isometric action-RPG's like Grim Dawn and Diablo exempt, of course).

2 was a good idea but a bad execution. Making oldshcool arena shooters into a Borderlands type game is a great idea but the game simply didn't have the right amount of content for the procedural generated maps thing they wanted to do. The game only had like 4 maps for like 20+ missions and it didn't take you long to figure out what part of the map you were over and over and over again.
@DocSanchez: Didn't like it either. 1 had it's problems, but it felt like a game with it's own vision than chasing trends.
Not usually my kind of thing, but that actually looks pretty good. Will have to see more, but that accordion slinky boss (or enemy) was awesome. I'll keep my eye on this. This is one of the few franchises I have never touched... the first two have been in and out of my cart both at stores and online on a few occasions though.
Colorful and vibrant, looks smooth, creative... pretty cool. Perhaps a little over the top for my taste in some areas, but oddly enough that's also what kind of draws me to it..
This looks so amazing. also they drop whole loot mechanics of second game and gone back to first game but with grappling and wall running.
@ps5rulez: Kinda looks like more of the same. Say what you will about Shadow Warrior, it changes things up with each entry.

I am so glad to hear that. I did not like the time wasting with loot and the shit procedural levels in the second game.
Yes the second game wasn't good, except for its graphics.
It's good that they are moving in a new direction. The new movement, wallrunning and grappling hook means a great flow of combat, like the last two DOOM games.
I'm just a bit bummed that it's on UE4 because that means zero ultrawide support.

I showed you already that UE4 supports ultrawide. Remember these screens?
