Wow, so because Dewy and Zack look cartoony and are puzzle games they don't have a chance? Also, Bwii and Fire Emblem are sequals AND couldn't we say "Show me gameplay" about any title coming up in the next couple of months. The first Batallion Wars got AA without online or multiplayer, this one has online, multiplayer, better controls resolving how it was controled with the C-stick for GCN so please if you want people to show you potential games don't go off and discredit them cause for all we know the next Cooking Mama could get AAA.

Guitar Hero, Zack and Wiki, Fire Emblem, Table Tennis, THPG, Battallion Wars 2, Geometry Wars: Galaxies, LEGO Star Wars, NiGHTS, Rayman RR 2 (WarioWare proved it's possible), Trauma Center: New Blood, Wii Fit (no one even has a clue, so I'm putting it up here, because regardless of its score, it's going to be the most influential title of '08, possibly), Mario Kart Wii, LEGO Indie, Animal Crossing, de Blob, DQS, FF: CC, LEGO Batman (I listed all the LEGO games because they ARE very high quality, and all have the potential to be AAA), Manhunt 2, No More Heroes....

Those are some of the games coming to the Wii that I feel have the potential to be AAA. Definitely not all of them will be AAA. Not even most of them will be AAA. But you asked for games that could POTENTIALLY be AAA, and I gave them to you.

No More Heroes, GH3, and Zack&Wiki.

Except for Halo, Mass Effect, and Bioshock, I don't see any AAA material on the 360 either. I see a lot of AA's, but not AAAs.

The only AAA I see on the PS3 is...well, nothing.

Has NiGHTS even been playable yet? I have read previews. None that I have read have even had hands-on impressions. Have YOU read them?

Read the reviews of the original, especially the player reviews on any site you can find. People LOVED the original, and no one has even played the sequel as far as I have ever seen. Don't be so sure of yourself if you don't know what you're talking about.

Take Guitar Hero and Ratchet off that list, if you want a list ofpossible AAA titles. Ratchet is the same formula as the first one - a fresh coat of paint on an old building. I got tired of it after 3 - I couldn't even finish #4 or play Size Matters because of the serious deja vu I was getting from the games. Even number 1 haveA LOT of platforming reminicence from Mario 64 and their previous Spyro titles.

As for Guitar Hero (and this goes for the wii fanboys too), Rock Band will obliterate all hope for that title becoming AAA. Rock Band has ruined it for the rest of the rhythm genre - they've set the bar 'skyrocketed high', andGuitar Hero 3 will feel like 1/4 of Rock Band even if it is 1/4 the price.

edit: all though some of these dont have a huge chance at least 2 will get AAA and thats MUCH more than ps3 will have (not counting multiplats) whith multiplats its about the same.

The Big 3 are the only titles that have potential AAA status (at least, here on GS). But who's said AA titles aren't awesome?

Geometry Wars, Manhunt 2, Guitar Hero 3 (MAYBE), The Simpsons Game, Medal of Honor, Battalion Wars II andZack and Wiki have AA potential.

They started development very late last year, and they're releasing it in the holidays - stupid, stupid move. Textures look painted on, the game is set mechanically and we don't know if Sega will bother to put goof effort into the controls. As for NMH, we don't know enough and the game ranges from looking 'good' to 'awful'.
