Sheep --- Why aren't you mad that Capcom won't release SF4 on Wii?

Capcom's best selling title ever is Street Fighter 2 on SNES...yes a Nintendo system. Street Fighter 2 Turbo on SNES is Capcom's 3rd best selling title ever...on SNES. It would have to be a completely different game, because the Wiimote doesn't have enough buttons and and the d-pad on the Wii is on the wrong side of the controller.

Anyway, I'm not mad because I don't particularly like fighting games. IMO, they peaked a long time ago, and all the new ones are just exercises in repetition. Same with racing games.

All fighting games just seem lame after playing SSBM. Seriously I used to love MKT and Tekken but after Smash they all just seemed weak.

Plus Capcom is giving Wii MH3, why should I complain?

SF2 was at the peak of their fighting craze. I remember being completely addicted to this game. So when it came out on consoles, of course it would be the best selling ever. Nowadays, there are other fighting series out there competing with SF and the genre isn't thriving as much as it used to.

Also, who cares? As long as the game comes out, that's all that really matters... although my hype for SF2 3D is gone after learning that there is no parrying in this game.

well thats a question that could have been asked a decade ago, but its been so long, sheep really dont care anymore. i suppose they have realized that if you want to play any Capcom fighting game, its gonna have to be on another system.

So generous of them to go through all that effort into creating a truly magnificent adventure game.:oops:

maybe the game requires a huge 5 gig installation which can't be done on the wii. other than that, i agree it makes no sense to not bring it over. the graphics aren't too realistic, online is possible, its not a new ip so they wouldn't really be taking a chance. man, its street fighter! it can probably release on the gba and sell great today.

my only fear is that it would probably be some shoddy ps2 port with no online anyways. i'm still in awe of how a console can sell at a rate unlike any before it and still get no respect from major publishers. its almost like they're also graphic whore fanboys.

i'd definitely pick up a classic controller if it was on the way though. or better yet, an arcade stick. i guess i'll just wait til i get a 360 or ps3 to play it.

its a battle game with hitting....but its not a conventional fighting game by any means....and I find Smash Bros, unlike most other fighters, to be more luck based due to random item spawns etc......

I dont like my fighting games decided by the fact that the smash ball happens to come onto the screen on the side of the stage you're not on.

i suppose you didnt realize that they play WITHOUT items in the EVO tournament.

you can play 1v1 without items, i dont see how that isnt a 'real' fighting game. the only thing thats missing is a health bar

a the only fighting games im into are on the wii already, mortal kombat and ssbb

b if every game on 360 ps3 came on wii as well , people would complain about the graphics and also it wouldnt make sense to have the 2 most expensive consoles, 349.99 599.99 resspectively as ps3s exclusives arent that good like nintendo and ms barely has any as well aside from gears and fable2 halo pgr and forza all these games are good but ya wii should continue to have its own set of games

I don't care because

1) I have SSBB, Guilty Gear, VF5 and soon Soul Calibur 4.

2) I have a 360 as a secondary console so even if, dispite the stupid character designs, the game is worth playing I'll have a way to play it.
