Shellshock 2: F.E.A.R killer?

Could this upcoming multiplat put Monolith to shame and set a new standard for horror FPS's?

I thought Shellshock was a TPS?

And I don't think it will be as good as FEAR

I think Shellshock 2 will turn out OK, it looked pretty cool in the trailer, pretty generic though, spooky dark buildings + blood stained corpses everywhere + crazy monsters jumping out.

No but that's because FEAR is going to be one of the best FPS ever :P

Rebellion is old and makes good games, like AVP, Rogue Trooper or Sniper Elite.

Maybe they can pull a Killzone 2 and make us hype the game AAA.

FEAR was not that good to begin with. If anything is worse than FEAR, it isn't worth playing, in my opinion.

Shellshock '67 is very underrated. The sequel could be good.

As for FPSs that are scarier than F.E.A.R., let me add another to the list: System Shock 2.V_Isle

I don't think it sucked outright, I think it's attempts at being scary sucked.

No, actually I played it right when it came out. I actually did play Fear Files on the 360 though.
It's just such a boring game. The whole game is basically the same crap. Run through the offices and shoot people. Throw in some non scary horror elements and wa-lah.

Hrrm, an FPS by an excellent, proven FPS studio like Monolith that has been around for years and years, and has put out titles like Shogo, NOLF, F.E.A.R., and AVP 2 among others, VS. a largely unproven, low quality studio that has put out a handful of licensed titles like Miami Vice: the Game, From Russia With Love, and the Simpson's Game.

Yeah, I think I'm going to go with Monolith and F.E.A.R. 2.

I played the PC version of FEAR and FEAR: Extraction Point.

I'm unimpressed.

Any developer that thought that making a sequel to such a crappy game was a good idea really doesn't need encouragement.

I'd put my money on the developer of NOLF, NOLF 2 and Shogo any friggin day of the week.

The first one was developed by guerilla, the makers of killzone lol, but this ones made by a different company and i think is published by a new company. I can't remeber who though someone will know.
