Looks pretty good but sadly unlike Persona I never found my way into this series. I tried it several times but It did not just click with me for some reason. Do I need to play these games in order or are they like the Persona series and mostly singular titles.

Yeah, SMT games are always uncensored, you don't have to worry about that stuff with Atlus
There is still the Nintendo factor though. Only Reason I did not buy Tokyo Mirage. And Atlus mentioned it was out of their control here.
Yeah, because Nintendo were publishing that game (and it had Nintendo IP in there too). Atlus' own stuff has come to Nintendo entirely uncensored for the last 30 years- just on the 3DS, we had Devil Survivor, Devil Survivor Overclocked, Persona Q, seven Etrian Odyssey games, and of course, SMT4 and SMT4 Apocalypse.
I don't own any consoles, but damn do i want a switch. Its gonna be my first console purchase in years, honestly. The current state looks great and the future just looks bright. i just hope SD card manufacturers can get those TB cards out in time, so i can go crazy on that console like i do on PC on terms of digital software.

Dont know much about the Shin Megami Tensei games outside of Persona but since I like Persona I would like to try it out. Oh well, no PS4 version so, I can live without it

They do forget the MAIN Tensei games have been primarily on Nintendo for a while now, right? Good lord, the PS fanboys boast about how much more "mature" they are to Nintendo fanboys, yet they act like children when a game isn't on PlayStation. They've been spoiled since the mid-late 90's, while Nintendo fans have had f*** all by comparison, many of them, while wishing they got better third party support (myself included), still came to freaking grips with what they got.

Yeah Tensei has been a staple for Nintendo for a while.. Why is this even news?
I like this series much more than Persona (Not really into High School social sim aspects in Persona), so this will be great! I have had person 5 sitting unopened on my coffee table for months and still have not really had the desire to play it.
I thought Persona 5's success might've got these games to hit other platforms like PS4. Boy was I wrong. I guess I'll just wait like another 8 years for Persona 6 lol

Nintendo is the least likely of the three console makers to censor something. They've released multiplats on their systems with less censorship than the same game on other platforms. Even Conker got censored by Microsoft when it was brought over to the Xbox from the N64.

The irony of this is Tokyo Mirage Sessions was censored to some degree, though I imagine the call was made to maintain the T rating in the west since the material that was censored revolved around gravure modeling which might skirt the M rating here in the west. And since the game didn't sell well at all in Japan, I'm willing to believe the censorship decision stemmed from a desire to boost potential sales of the game in the west.
That aside... @oliver8114 there's little chance SMT5 would be censored considering it's Atlus' call this time, not Nintendo's.
