Hello System Wars!!!

I recently started playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and am extremly addicted to it.

I started thinking... What is my favorite competitive shooter?

I own Crysis/Warhead/Wars, Halo Reach, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I started leaning towards Bad Company 2.

Anyways... What is System Wars favorite and are there any other great competitive FPS for PC, 360, or PS3 that are better?

Battlefield series. Halo and CoD are garbage in comparison.

Obviously Battlefield. CoD is a pathetic piece of crap and Halo was boring as *** with Godly bad level design. (Except for Halo 2 and Reach, i like those games)

I tried TF2 when i bought the Orange Box for my 360 and wasnt a fan... Should i got back and play my PS3 version or maybe try it for PC?

first off, its Team Fortess 2, Half life 2, and Left 4 Dead series.

But crysis and battle field are 2 of my favourites as well.

Not a fan... I played Resistance 1 online for a few and got really bored with it. Plus i hate all those 1-shot kill matches that everyone plays.

thats because tf2 is a pc game. and nobody plays it for 360.

Get it for PC, I heard the PS3 version was pretty bad. In fact, I heard TF2 is leagues better on PC than it is on both consoles.

TF2 on PC stomps consoles to the ground. Its way better on PC.

Brink is going to dominate all those games when it is released.

Battlefield 2 is still the best multiplayer shooter I've played, and its over five years old...

With a squad of 4 that knows how to play, Bad Company 2 is much better than other shooters I've played. Problem being is that it is hard to get into a squad of 4 that is good since everyone just wants to snipe

team fortress, killzone, and battlefield.

To compare BF to CoD in any fashion is an outright crime.

While I am not a CoD hater, as is all the rage these days, I think the BF series is head and shoulders above the twitch shooting mechanics of the Call of Duty games. Though i must admit that CoD 2 is still one of my favorite all time shooters. The game was just done so well and had fantastic atmosphere.

I would choose Resistance 1 and 2, but BFBC2 is also great

Is Counter Strike a really popular series still? Is it played by many still?

I decided i will check out TF2 again :)

Out of those, Bad Company 2. Overall this gen, Warhawk. It's simply the most balanced, lag-free game out there. The maps are huge, the variety of vehicles/weopons are great, the servers are near flawless and moderated.

Hard game though.

Once again TF2 is not in the poll. This is ridiculous.

Even though i am gonna probably end up playing Battlefield 3 first on PS3 before PC.

I am still gonna say Battlefield is the best FPS series i've played.

Singleplayer for all these games i think are great, not amazing intricate well told stories. but if all your expecting is a decent war-action adventure, i think they all do a decent job at that bit.

but for multiplayer. Battlefield 2 on PC and Bad Company 2 on PS3 are the two games that EASILY take my most played FPS series. only other FPS series i can think of that i even put ANY amount of time into the multiplayer is Resistance 2.

This year there are 4 multiplayer games i'm planning on picking up.

1. Killzone 3

2. Crysis 2 (PS3)

3. Resistance 3

4. Battlefield 3 (PS3 and PC)

Currently trying to finish up Assassin's Creed : Brotherhood multiplayer trophies so i'm done with it. got all of them except i gotta get to max rank. I am only 12 ranks away. so should be doable in the next couple of days.

Team Fortress 2 and Monday Night Combat.
