I do not believe all third-party games should be multiplatform. I think third party exclusives make things quite interesting.musicalmac
I believe that as well. That is also the current state of affairs today, so...
BTW, did touching the pope give you any superpowers?

you changed ur sig ( the used to be PS3 one) did you hear what i said last time?? LOL that sig always makes me laugh. man the words arent appearing in topic
No. Devs should be able to do what they wish. If someone thinks up a game that'll be magic on the Wii for some reason (or Ps3 or 360 or whatever) but not on other consoles, why make it multiplat?
And paying for exclusivity is.... neutral to me. It's business. Have a fun shopping time, Sony and MS.

Yeah, It's in my blog. If you want it you can have it. After this one I'm going for a Wii sig.In all seriousness... no! I cannot imagine the Wii living of Multiplatform titles and it would be a shame if the other high tech consoles did not have exclusives that maximized the performance of each platforms, specially the PC imo.
Not to mention that all the platforms have different costs when it comes to development, strategies, interfaces... Markets more sucessfull than others in specific regions... Would I want it to be? A platform that has it all? Yes... But we have 4 competitive platforms in the market... and with them comes many specific differences.

no. cuz companies need to be competitive. it would be boring for people cuz they have no1 to make fun of anymore for having the worst version *takes a quick glance at the wii* _DeatH-MetaL_
Madden is the most widely popular multi-platform game and the Wii version is the best.
Yes, but only if they take advantage of the system's strengths.XaosII
I agree with XaosII. If a company is going to make a game multiplat for the obvious reason of making a bigger profit margin, they atleast need to not be lazy and just make the games playable. They need to actually take advantage of each system to where one system doesn't dominate and another system runs like crap.
I think that the majority of 3rd party games should be multiplatform but devs should put in more effort this time around to change each version of the game in a way that would take advantage of the strengths of the console it's on. Like exclusive features that can only be done on the Wii (controller), 360 (superior online), or PS3 (Real time weapon change).
[QUOTE="Harden_hawk"]Nice poll. :roll:Mordred19
what's the problem?
You should just leave it at yes or no.

I wanted the poll to represent as many points of view as possible. I think I hit the mark with the choices. As you can see, some people are saying 'yes' but for different reasons than others. Same with 'no'.
Multiplat is one thing. Multiplat being available for all consoles is completely different. Like this gen, most 3rd parties are available for PS3 and 360 but most are missing from the Wii. Do you mean it should at least be like that or it should be available for all of them?manningbowl135
That needs to be qualified, because 3rd party games would suffer if they ALL had to be made for the Wii as well as the other much more powerful systems. However, if all 3rd party came out for both PS3 and X360, it would make choosing easier. The systems would have to compete on first party alone...
