Its most likely going to be on par with the 360, but if you watch the COD4 comparison at GT, they were nearly the same. Besides, you wont need to worry about paying to play MW2 :D
dont worry about it, modern warfare is one of the multiplats that are identical on both consoles so im sure mw2 will be the same.
As for online i have no problems with MW apart from the occasional problem getting into parties, it rarely lags and is an all round solid game.
once psn gets private chat i'm sure i'll warm up to psn more and its online playTHE212Warrior
Eventually, we will get it so you wont have to worry about it.
[QUOTE="THE212Warrior"] I recently sold my xbox 360 for a PS3. Now don't get me wrong, I love the PS3 so far, however the multiplats bother me. More particularly MW 2 just seems like its going to be more suited for the 360. I loved call of duty 4 and played it extensively, so with the new call of duty, I want the best version. Now controls aren't a problem I am getting an XCM CrossBattle adapter, this allows you to connect a wired 360 controller. I am mainly concearned about the graphics and online. In multiplats the 360 seems to have an edge, this is starting to even out more recently though. But will I get the full experiance in MW 2 on the ps3, or should I save up and get a 360 again after another price drop to play modern warfare? If you didn't want to read all that, here is a summary -got a ps3,worried about mw 2 not being up to par with 360 version -will online and graphics/gameplay be as smooth on ps3 as the 360 version -and does anyone know if its being built around the 360 and being ported to the ps3, or vice versa, or both seperatly?12345678ewbeing built on ps3, it's an EA game, all of them are now, everything else will be the same, and get a shadow controller not that adapter thing. the shadow is made by sony, has special non-stick sweat resistant gel pads on the sides, is shaped exactly like the 360 controller, and is wireless.
its activision not EA
and that controller looks like a decent alternative to the ds3

I'm pretty sure IW have seperate dev teams for 360 and PS3, working concurrently.
1. yeah its just that call of duty goes in hand with the 360 and 2. infitity ward doesn't have concearn for the ps3. But how would I know, right?THE212Warrior
1. It does? MW played equally well on PS3/360. I own the PS3 version.
2. Yes they do, they have seperate dev teams. One for PS3 and one for 360.
That's the problem with selling consoles. I'm guessing there won't be another price cut for the 360 for a while.. so that's up to you.
Well that would be the only reason to get the 360, I like sport games, the ps3 has better ones IMO, espicially baseball, and I was getting sick of halo and gears of war, just a glitch fest both of them. Just the quality of MW 2 of the ps3 will make me regret me selling the 360.That's the problem with selling consoles. [QUOTE="mitu123"][QUOTE="Keltoid"]There was hardly any difference in COD4 between the 360 and PS3... so yeah. KeltoidThe PS3 version looked a little worse, there's a difference. Hence "hardly" a difference. Yeah, but I would expect both to be equal, not just one looking better than the other, unless devs tend to go for that.

Come on dude, you seriously think that :?

It was very slight. I think there were a few higher res textures, here and there.

You wont notice the difference unless you're playing the game side by side and picking apart pixels. The difference are minimal.

360 version looks slightly better to me. Another comparison I saw was even more obvious.[QUOTE="AdoringFan_"][QUOTE="mitu123"] The PS3 version looked a little worse, there's a difference. mitu123

360 version looks slightly better to me. Another comparison I saw was even more obvious. But the differences arent really even worth noting. Not like the difference between Fallout 3 PS3 and Fallout 3 360.Keltoid, I simply don't like getting slighty inferior versions of the same game. It has to be equal or one has to look better than another to get the better version. I get most multiplats on 360 and sometimes PC, I wouldn't waste money on PS3 multiplats unless they are exactly the same or look better. There's only a few multiplats that look better on PS3 to be fair, but I'll get the PC version for that, LOL.
I only use the PS3 for exclusives to be honest.
