Okay, to be perfectly honest here, it can be a tough decision.
The PC library is really strong, strong enough that you don't really need a console. However, if you decide to get one, there are plenty of pros and cons to each.
One thing to consider is that the 360 and PC often share games (BioShock), so it's likely, and will become increasingly likely as MS pushes Windows Live, that the 360 and PC libraries will overlap for a lot of popular games. Look at MS's upcoming lineup (Halo 3, Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden 2, Banjo Threeie), compare it to Sony's upcoming lineup (Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Haze, Killzone 2), see which you're more interested in.
If you're into CS and BF2, you will love Warhawk. It's a game you can easily play for 5 hours and not even notice. Not quite as mind-bogglingly addictive as WoW, but for a console shooter, it's really, really good.
Anyway the 360's lineup is really strong, PS3's is stronger than people will admit, but still lacking. Halo 3 and Mass Effect are big pushes, but so is Metal Gear Solid etc. which are coming out next year.
PS3 has a Blu-ray player if you're into HD movies.
360 has a much better and fuller online experience (XBL).
PS3's online is sparser at the moment, but free.
360 is cheaper.
PS3 is more reliable (no Red Rings problems).
I am trying to hold off on buying a 360 until they officially fix that heatsink problem.
Bottom line, both consoles have their strengths and weaknesses. Look at the future lineup, see what looks cool to you in the coming year, test out both controllers, see which one feels right. You might not get a lot of unbiased answers here, but either choice you make will be a good one.
