For reference, I already own a PS3, a Wii and a DS of the current gen consoles, but the 360 and PSP both have upcoming and already released games that look really interesting to me. I also have a PC capable of playing a lot games. It can play ME, L4D, The Orange Box and many others, but I don't know if it'll be able to handle some of the 360/PC games coming out.

I also think that a lot of the XBLA titles look cool as well.

As for the PSP, it has tons of games coming out and the interactivity with the PS3 is a real plus for me.

They are both at similar price points with the 360 at $200 or $300 and the PSP at $200 for the bundle I'm looking at. Based on the list of titles below that I am interested about for each system and the pros and cons of each system as well, which would you recommend to me? Opinions on the games I'm interested as well as opinions of other games I should be interested in are much appreciated as well. I'm not big into shooters if that helps. Thanks in advance. :)

Remote play is cool if it's a feature you'd use. My first thought was 360, but seeing as remote play is a plus for you, and you already have a home console, PSP might be a good choice for you.

I'd buy a PSP. I really only have use for 1 home console(besides computer), 1 handheld(besides cell phone). For you, I'll recommend 360 because there are some great games you may want for it.

At first sight I'd say XB360... but i'm not really into handheld gaming... However - considering that you already have a PS3, Wii and DS... It could be claimed that having a PSP may actually provide more marginal benefit that having an Xbox360... Since many people claim that the XB360 and PS3 are very similar... Wheras i don't think that the same comparison can be applied to the DS and the PSP... However - I don't have a PSP so I can't 'objectively' comment anyway... So I guess it's your call.

You'll get more out of an Xbox360 than you would a PSP.

depends on what you like

i only have a psp and xbox 360 (lil ironic)

and their nothing alike

but both fantastic

if having a portable ps1/ps2/video/music device sounds awesome, then get the psp

if playing some of the best current gen games with alot of online content sounds awesome, then get a 360

if both sound awesome... well you got ever other system you must have money

Considering you have a PC, which pretty much plays every game you listed for the 360 except Forza from what I can tell, you'd probably be better off with the PSPnavstar29

actuallly around 50% of that list cant be played on a PC.

If you already got a very good Gaming PC & a PS3, I don't really see the point in grabbing a 360, since most of the games that are on 360 can also be played on the PC with far better graphics in true native 1080p, much better online multiplayer, DLC, etc.

The PSP would be a good choice for you.

True, I only just quickly skimmed the list if even that, there's the GTA DLC's, Crackdown (2), Banjo, and a couple XBL games.

yeah, I thought I saw a few more things on there, but who knows. Anyways, I voted for 360 initially but now that I think about it both 360 and PSP are going to have a LOT of games next year.

Thanks for all the help guys.

I'm still not sure what I'm going to get, but it was nice to see all of your input. I think at this point I'm still not sure what I'm going to get because I really want Crackdown and Shadow Complex a lot, but I also want to have LBP, AC, RB and GOW on the go. This is truly a decision with no right choice.

Go with the 360, Right now I can't say get a PSP, I had mine since day one and Most games are boring but its like owning a Mini Wii?...you should just wait for the PSPgo. 360 is getting ready for a whole line of games coming out this winter and Live is really good with XBL games.

You should probably seek other opinions. The problem with posting this on system wars is basically all of the 360 haters will come in a vote for psp, and all the sony haters will come in and vote 360. I'm not saying that there aren't some people on the boards trying to actually help you in making your decision, but keep in mind your thread is bound to attract fanboy wars.

Anyways, if you have a ps3 already, I wouldn't get a 360. That being said, most people I know who own both platforms are pretty happy :)

Ok ill say 360 look even if you have a pc/ps3 doesnt mean you losse every 360 exclusive. Also the psp will have alot of remakes of games you can buy on the ps3 ( final fantasy, mgs, gta stories, lbp). Plus you have a ds so you already have a good handheld. But I do believe that the psp is a better handheld than the ds. With a 360/Pc/Ps3/Ds combo you will have a whole spectrem of games from every devloper.

If you have a PS3 get the PSP, it is a very nice complement, while the 360 seems redundant and you can get many of the best games on it on PC.

Well, you have a PS3 and PC. This decision shouldn't be too hard for you. You should get the PSP, especially if you know a lot of people with 360s. You could possibly play some of the games you really want at their place.

I would say 360, I love my psp but in reality it doesnt have a huge library of must have games though that might change now that the psp go is coming... and the 360 is indeed quite similar to the ps3 but there's always exclusives and for multiplats xbox usually has more DLC so you got more possibilites with it. All in all whatever system you buy you're gonna be makin' a right choice cause both are pretty good...

If you have a PS3 and PC it is nearly pointless to get a 360 becasue there aren't many 360 exclusives.

I literaly had this EXACT dilima.

Except i didn't have a PS3.

PSPs where the same price as the 360.

I didn't have a good gameing rig. (5 series graphics card, it was best of 3 gens ago even at the time)

And i had the wii.

I went with the PSP.

I have not regretted my choice.

My God we have many X360 fanboys here!

Anyway, there's no point whatsoever in owning a Breakbox 360 if you already have a PS3. Besides, looking at the upcoming titles, things should be settled easily in PSP's favour...
