i found dead rising 2 waaay better then 1, you can go get 1 for 10 bucks and dead rising 2 is pretty cheap also
I'm curious, I've played Dead rising 1 at my friends house. He tells me it's a lot better then two. And two was a failure, but Dead rising 1 was a lot of fun? So which one.RoflCopteryy
First of all, get new friends.
Second of all, both are good, but DR2 is significantly better. AI that isn't dumb as balls, a MUCH higher zombie count, more weapons, improved difficulty balancing, etc.
But since DR1 is like $5 and Dead Rising 2 is like $20, I don't see why you don't buy both.

He's said Dead rising 2 is far more tedious, though he also says the games in general are limited with the time limit.[QUOTE="SPYDER0416"][QUOTE="RoflCopteryy"]I'm curious, I've played Dead rising 1 at my friends house. More variety in missions, longer single player, a co-op component, weapon crafting system, online multiplayer (incredibly fun and unique MP), improved graphics, improved AI, improved zombie count, improved controls, etc.
I guess the only knock against DR2 I'd have is the need to give Katie her medicine every day (which hampered freedom and getting to missions in time), but otherwise it is a HIGHLY significant improvement and is objectively a better game. Though I guess I could sort of see someone preferring the first with some nostalgia goggles or a preference for its story or maybe liking Frank more, but then you may as well get Off The Record instead of DR2 and call it a day.
First should be played before (since its hard going back), but if you HAVE to choose one, I'd go with the second game.
