Should I buy Killzone 2 or SF IV?

Which one should I get, if I were to get SF IV it would be on xbox 360.

Both got 9.0's, so they're both fantastic games, although I've gotten a lot more mileage out of SFIV. It's the best fighter this gen.

I bought both games the day they hit the shelves and I've played SFIV waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I've played KZ2... KZ2 is not bad at all, but I've always been more of a fighters guy than a FPS one.

It really just depends on whether you are up for a fighter or a shooter at the moment.

If you like shooters then go with Killzone 2. AFter all it is a good game. Street fighter 4 is also a good game for fighters.

I actually own SF4 on both Consoles, but I enjoy much more on PS3 due to the Dpad. Of course, if you got an extra $100, get a fight stick (actually get two, so buds can play).

I am a SF Player, and have won many tourney's over the years, including two recent ones for SF4, the PS3 is by far a better DEFAULT machine for the game due to the Dpad.

Have fun, both are great games.

If you can only buy one, get SF IV, not only you can play online multiplayer, but you can have friends over and play on the same screen, more fun.

as much as i liked SF4 i was more or less done with it after a week, even with online IMO there isnt that much in it

EDIT: But I should help you anyway. I hired SF4 and I didn't really like it, actually I didn't like it at all. So I'm guessing that KZ2 would be better. :P

I don't wish to question your skillz, but I've had no problems with the controls from the first second i played the game. It's a joy to play with the 360 controller and i use all of it, analogue and D-pad.

As for which game to get, I'd say SFIV because of how much I love it, but i have yet to get a PS3 so I don't know about Killzone 2. SFIV single player is excellent, challenge mode is really good fun (fighting when invisible was tough) and 2 player is amazing, especially the commentary :o

This doesn't really belong in SW :P.

How many shooters do you already own compared to fighters? That should answer your question since both games are great.

Also, it's not KZ2 fault the damn Helgast don't have jungles you know :P

Unless you have friends that also play SF4, you'll get a lot more mileage out of KZ2's multiplayer.

You did NOT just disrespect Audiosurf!

As for the TC, get the one from the genre that you like more. KZ2 is a great shooter and SF4 is a great fighter.

I like me some KZ2. I beat SF4 and only ocassionally play online. Ive beat KZ2 and replayed a few more times. And then theres the mp. Good stuff

ok ..... this isnt even close . Killzone may have a better Single player but it when it ends so does the fun, the MP is busted and isnt fun. The stages are huge but often only have fighting in one area. They have a level system but with a Lobby system its busted too many times you'll play against people way beyond your skill and ones who have high level powers . You know the ones that should available from the jump like the ability to revive players.

Ken Fighter 4 on the other hand has perfect balance spot freaking on . I've been as high as 1650 bp and I've beaten people with 3000 bp and I only pick Dan ranked #24 in the power rankings so yeah.

If you want to buy SF4, buy the PS3 version. The PS3 has a better D-pad. Unless you're going to buy the arcade controller.

I own both but I've definitely put in more time into KZ2, both games are fantastic however.

is it me or did the mods just get trigger happy?
