Should i Buy Wii or Xbox 360?

Hey,

i was thinking of getting one of these consoles. I already have a PS3 so i am kinda unsure if i should pick up a 360 BUT i am kinda crazy about online gaming, and would love to play halo3/gears of war on 360. I dont know what i should invest in...

Okay i decided to go for 360 now...

Should i get the Pro or the Arcade? i Dont wanna spend too much money and get the elite. and also wondering, i can use the wiereless internet on pro correct? or do i need the wireless adapter? thanks!

Get the 360. You're PS3 will hardly be touched after that though.

It's hard not to buy games for 360 when you own both...better/more stable online service, Achievements are great...much better than trophies, which are looking like an afterthought right about now.

Wii is great too, but now is not the time to buy...It's a really junk lineup until 09.

Well, if your serious about online play and really want gears/halo then you should get 360.

But the 360 and PS3 are a lot alike and share way to many titles. So I think it would be good for you to branch out and try something new, because the Wii or DS just offer types of gaming that don't exist anywhere else.

still, if what you WANT is gears/halo then you should be getting a 360.

If you have a gaming PC - get a Wii

If you don't have a gaming PC - get a 360

360 has waaaay more/better exclusives then Wii.

PS3/360 is an almost flawless combination.

I'm thinking about getting a 360 as well, once I get my refund check. The funny thing is that none of the 360 games interest me except Bioshock and that's coming to the PS3, so it's really no point of buying a system for a multiplate game

I think you should go for a wii if you already have a PS3

There are a lot of great exclusives for the console, and for you say you want some hardcore gaming you can play your PS3 and if you want some great, Casual and core gaming then play your wii

PSWII or WII60 are the perfect combinations

Get the 360 it's got the most AAA games and their are plenty more to come. Although you probably won't need your PS3 after you buy your 360.

Umm lets see. Get a last gen system with a new gen controller for $249.99 or a true this gen system with arguably the best games library, on-line and controller for $199.99.

You want something different? Either get the 360 for XBLA, or get the Wii for the games nobody on System Wars remembers.

If you've got a PS3, the 360 isn't going to carry you far in terms of exclusive content. You might not get the same games, but you'll find similar gameplay someplace.

Games have gotten too similar these days.

its called contacting xbox support and sending it off 2-3 weeks later you will get it back. My latest one has lasted more then a year now.

The wii has plenty of good games but the 360 is the place to be for games

Not to mention better online gaming, But again one mans opinion

i think wii is for ...kids and non-gamers bc i would get it only for brawl which i have for gamecube :S and blah mario, i will get the wii when its $159 or sth, really not my thing

I had both, and sold the Wii. That's where I stand on the matter, lol.

Your best bet and value is an Xbox 360.

You're not going to find anything spectacular or of value on the Wii, unless you're into

• Nintendo 1st Party (which is mostly hit or miss and most of them were better on previous N consoles)
• prefer pickup & play casual shovelware
• half-ss ports
• half-ss 3rd party games - current & upcoming (in which most gamers don't seem to care or take seriously)
• Classic oldschool games - NES, SNES, SMS, Genesis, TG16, NeoGeo

The last part being the ONLY value for buying a Wii, imo. Most of these Classics are WORTH MORE than Wii's current library....which is sad, really.
