I'd still get a DSi over the 3000, but if you can find one I'd go DS Lite all the way.

Don't wait. Get DSi. As a PSP owner, trust me, the PSP is one boring device.

Bioshockownz prove my point that thePSP is a boring handheld, but I was wondering should I buy a new PSP. Because the PSP upgrade themself since I had my old psp 2000 back in fall 2008, they're making new games like Motorstorm, Soul Caliber and Tekken 6 and other games for the PSP.

Just go buy a 360 Arcade...

HD console with a entire library of AAA titles... or a tiny handheld with crappy low res games that you will probably go blind from playing for more than an hour...

I suggest you wait 'til E3 before making any decision. IMO the PSP library is better, it has more games I'm interested in, still I'd be happy If I got a DS though.

I'm thinking about buying a handheld too, but not sure which one. It would be mainly for JRPGs and SRPG, don't really care about other genres.

i own psp 2000 and ds lite, i would recommend buying the ds lite for few reasons. They are FF4 and dragon quests.

psp is ok but it lacks games, only game that i would 100% recommend on it is godof war. For a rpg, DS wins , and personally, GTA is more fun on DS than psp.
