LOL.. the Haze jokes never stops. Jokes? One does not joke about a masterpiece of that magnitude. TC, add Haze to your list.

I'm most certainly not joking. Haze had a complex, insightful story with a lot of poignant social commentary, tight, responsive controls, brilliant level design and some of the most inspired art design in years. It's not on the benchmark PS3 FPS, but arguably the single best first person shooter released on a console since Goldeneye. If you have the money and really want one you should get one. But don't just buy into the hype that the cows spin on this website PS3 has like 3 really good exclusive titles and thats it. I almost got a PS3 until I realized I play mostly multiplat games, MGS4 isn't worth the purchase you can just rent it, I will not be playing R2 or KZ 2 once COD:MW2 comes out, and the only thing that I really want to play or know more about is the new Twisted Metal game coming for the PS3 so until then I'm waiting and will re-evaluatewhen some more games come out that I am into. Don't let other people's opinons sway you, you know what types of games you enjoy and how long you play certain types of games.
wait for price drop, if you held out this long you can wait a couple more months for a price drop. Then you would have enough saved up to buy all the games you want, controller, and the system.
I'll never understand why people feel the need to ask others which stuff to get... specially in a SW forum :)
same, if your on SW you probably know what console you want anyways.I'll never understand why people feel the need to ask others which stuff to get... specially in a SW forum :)

I can't imagine how people are giving you such short answers. I would say that it depends. If you are like me, own a 360 (or maybe a Wii) and there are still great games that you haven't had the time to play, then no, I would say stick with your current console (if you own one). If you do not own any of the next gen consoles, I'd say go for it. There are a lot of great games for the PS3.
Personally, I want a PS3 but can't make myself buy one. Like I said, there are more games out that I want to play than I have time for as it is. Also, I could use that money to buy more games.
Depends...
I mean I have one and its great. Its a brilliant shooter console :D
Even if you have a 360 or wii, Id get one, more consoles = more high quality exclusives. And sonys 1st party dev team are arguable the best set of devs around, very talented bunch...

how is it with jrpgs? If the only PS3 exclusives that interest me are MGS4, Killzone 2, and the Resistance games.Michael324
That's more than enough for you now, right? Unless you're a full-time gamer.
i seems you really like shooters?
if thats the case then you should deffinitly give uncharted and warhawk a try aswell.
both of which are really good games. (expecialy uncharted, one of my favorites this year)
you should also try out LBP and VC, but i suggest you rent these first (there not for everybody)
I'm waiting for a price cut, so I guess that's the only advice I can give you. It has a lot of exclusives that I'm looking foward to playing, such as Uncharted, GOW3, KZ2, MGS4, R1 & 2, LBP etc etc, as well as games like inFamous, heavy rain etc on the way. Half those games I listed are already cheap due to being 'classic' re-releases. The longer you wait, the more games will fall under that price.
