Money is not a problem here. I'm wondering if I should get a DS or a PSP.

Things I like about the DS: the new Super Mario Bros, TLoZ: Phantom Hourglass, the Castlevania games, touch screen.

Things I like about the PSP: movies, action games, better graphics, larger games, Socom.

So, would anyone like to add a few things, maybe sway me to one handheld.

Thanks in advance,

Happy Gaming :D

If money is not a problem get both; they're both getting games you can't miss.

Go for the DS. The PSP isn't better, it doesn't have more action or bigger games, and the games that people say make it good fail because the ;ack of a second analog stick.

Why do people make threads like this? You are buying a gaming console: do you like the games it has to offer? If so, then that should make your decision.

i think you would highly regret getting a ds. i have had one since launch and it used to be fun but all the games dont exite me anymore. i got a psp for christmas and i would say it is way better. unlike how people say there are no good games, there are a ton. plus the ds  touchscreen gets really boring after a whileand thats all the games are about, using the touchscreen. plus the psp has many original titles.   :)

original?? anyway, i would recommend getting both, but if you can´t afford it, get the ds. psp is great if you don´t have a ps2 (my case)

The DS is a better portable gaming system, the PSP might be a better overall gaming system though. By that I mean the PSP has more hard-core type games and better graphics, however it also has loading times, less battery life, is more expensive, has more expensive games, and does not have as many pick up and play portable-type games.

I think if you have a home console or two that you play frequently then you should without a doubt get a DS, it's a better compliment. However, if your portable is going to be your main source of gaming then I think you should give strong consideration to the PSP, but even in that case the DS might still be your choice.
