should i get ArmA 2 combined ops?

i want it for 3 reasons -

1) DayZ- i checked on system requirementslab, im over the min. it looks like the maddafakken best zombie game evar.

2) Multiplayer realism-ArmA has a reputation of an amazingly realistic game, well, i love battlefield's size, and RO2's realism, i hope the multi will be as great as i hope it is.

3) LOOOONG campaigns-both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA have 2 long SP campaigns ill probably play a bit before getting into the multi, it sounds great because of two reasons - first of all, ArmA 2 has multiple options, which is awesome, and second of all, OA looks like an amazing ***bug free*** campaign, which will help me through my suicidal internet wi-fi connection.

but the downsides are that my specs are bellow OA's min requierments (which makes me doubt how well ill run DayZ), and i tried ArmA 2 free, and the multi was.... dissapointing. (huge map, but 60 players made it feel so... empty, unrealisticallyempty)

It's actually not that "realistic", tbh.

It's the most realistic military "game", sure, but it leaves quite a lot to be desired for the realism-fan.

For example the vehicles in the game behave quite "arcadey", the AI is rather dumb (still better than in 90% of other games), the weapon physics and sounds can be off, you will stumble upon bugs and performance issues, ect.

Also, the SP campaigns are nothing special or memorable.

However, the game is great if you play it with a good team of players in the MP mode and also if you're into modding and mission editing.

Yes buy it.

I can play some games from this gen such as Oblivion and Fallout, Half Life 2 (can't do Team Fortress for some reason), Portal and several others. But I can't play too many new games that are released, I really want to upgrade again for Witcher 2 but I don't have enough knowledge on on how to upgrade efficently. And I have other things going on at the moment. But eventually I would like to upgrade again.

My GPU is pretty good, I think it's mainly my CPU or something. Games look just fine on my PC, like Skyrim. But performance wise I have some issues.

Arma campaigns are boring as hell. The most fun is in the mission editor and online. Still not for me
