i have both and my OCD always has me trying to read up and find out which version of a multiplat is better(even if by the slightest bit)....so I thought I'd run it by your guys to see if anyone has any inside info pre-release

otherwise i guess i should wait for the inevitible eurogamer comparison...

I think they'll be identical so basically it comes down to controller preference. Maybe you'll just have to wait and see.

They said they are about the same. The PS3 is said to have more guys but that could be good or bad and comes at the cost of a mandatory install.

the demo's availible on both. so that should give you all the graphics comparisons you need. then it just comes down to which console you friends play on for the co-op.

I've played both Demo's extensively, they seem identical. I am leaning towards PS3 IF the install offers what DMC4's INSTALL offered.

A couple of sources have indicated the PS3 version is more intense, as their are more baddies to fight, but we will see. (The advantage of SONY's Installs)

Wait for Reviews, I guess.

well the ps3 version has been proven to have slightly worse graphics and mandatory install.

I don't think it matters. Whatever graphical differences arise will be negligible at best. It all comes down to personal preference. If all else fails, just flip a coin or something.

well the ps3 version has a mandatory install.10MP

That means it will probably have little to NO loading times, if it's like DMC4...Which any gamer would more than welcome. I wish SF4's Install was mandatory.

I read a from a few sites the PS3 version will be more intense, as it will have more enemies on screen due to the INSTALL, but again, we will know for sure once the reviews come out.

One advantage is the Installs on PS3 can help a dev do some neat things.

Pfff i played both demos, that comment about more zombies is BS.. both versions are exactly the same when it comes to gameplay and content..the 360 version looks and runs better and i'm basing that on reviews and personal experience.

I am getting the 360 version. I only have 11GB's left on my PS3. I am not willing to waste it on a mandatory install.

Installs are easily erased after completing a game. In fact, you may have some installs that you don't need anymore.

My whole point, is if the INSTALL in any way shape or form improves the RE5 experience, I'm not going to get a watered down experience (If that's what the review indicates). It seems you've made your mind before the reviews are out...no more PS3 games ever.

It's all good though, at least your getting RE5.:)
