So i want to buy a PS3 for MGS4(and stuff like killzone) and i am thinking of selling the 360, as i am mainly a PC gamer and play consoles ocassionaly(mainly console multiplats) and having two is not really worth it as one will be left unplayed. I have already played the best of the 360 games(like gears 2) and most of them come out on the PC anyway(unlike the PS3 titles). So should i sell it?

Keep the 360. Never sell consoles that you already owned and opened... you'll regret it. Save up money for the PS3.

In before fanboys, but its your choice if you enjoy the 360 it's a great console if not the ps3 is a great console also, i play my PS3 a lot more then the 360 nowadays, and has amazing upcoming games as well. But really it's up to you do some research and find out if you feel PS3 is right for you.

Never sell one console for another, you will regrat it trust me, because games do come along that will grab your attention. The PS3 is a great console but don't buy it because you see a couple of games, and you think yuo have seen the best of the 360. waiting won't kill you the console race is still young the great games are still too come. In the words of Nathen Hale at the end of Resistance 2 "This is only the begining".

Of the two any console is right for me, i just need a medium for console multiplats not on the PC. But the PS3 looks more attractive now that it has MGS4(and i am a huge fan of the series) and having both is just a waste for my time, as i play the console once or twice in a month. My fav xbox franchise, halo and gears, have already been released and looks like there is no KOTOR in the future, while the PS3 has killzone and GOW(which are also my favs). So should i sell?

Eh it's really up to you how much value do you see from your 360 and do you play it often if yes you can wait PS3 will have a price drop if no, you can consider selling it but only if that's how you feel. I won't lie i enjoy both and play PS3 more but that's just me, I'd say maybe rent the console first see you how enjoy it, but imo don't let fanboys sway you into thinking ones better then the other both have pros and cons trust me.

If that's true, is it not obvious to you what the "right choice" is? You seem to be not interested in the 360's games and you are a major fan of some of the PS3's already out or upcoming exclusives. Regardless, the choice is yours..

Selling a console is a very bad decision, especially when there's many years left. You'll miss out. Save for a PS3.

I think you should MGS 4 is an amazing game but try not to sell it in places like gamestop they rip you off see if you can do it online or a friend.

You don't necessarily know that the OP is going to miss out on games that he would like on the 360, because you don't know his personal choices and if there are any more good games coming out for the 360 anyway (I tried to use this loosely as it was just an example, not that I think that no good games will come out on the 360). If the OP thinks that there is not much more for him with one console, he still reserves that right to sell it back even if you disagree.

Only unless you feel obliged to buy a ps3 but remember price cuts may be coming to it very soon. at that point will be better.

I prefer the PS3 over the 360 though I think its a good system. I especially think it's a great idea to have a PS3 over a 360 if you're a PC gamer. Many of the 360's "exclusives" are also for the PC. I dont think its really worth having the 360 if youre a PC gamer. So I would give your question a big YES. I think the price of the PS3's now are worth the price if you want blu-ray and are an online gamer however you may want to wait a few month's to see if there will be a price drop in the spring or not. I dont think you will be disappointed at all though either way.

Based on what you've said TC, yes you should. It sounds like you can get some of the 360 exclusives on PC, while there's exclusives on PS3 you won't be able to play on PC, therefore you should get a PS3.

So should i sell it?bigevil_rashek

if u're willing to sacrifice a lot of games for like 5games then be my guest 360 will always have more to offer! mgs4 is amazing! but u have to decide would u rather gears 2 fable 2 and left 4 dead or just mgs4 r2 was a flop regardless of what any1 says! i had 41000kills on the 1st one and i have 35 on the 2nd LOL! and uncharted is a single player beatable in 2days! and little big planet is for a select audience! all the other titles for ps3 coming out this with the exception of killzone are single player games and with lackluster online, i wouldnt recommend it...i own both so i am giving u the best advice i can! if u dont play ur 360 much and u think ps3 has better games then i say do it but otherwise i wouldnt advise it.

Just sell your 360 and get a PS3. It sounds like you are leaning to that anyway.
