Should I trade my 360 for a ps3?

I've had a 360 for 2 years now (i've went through a couple though because of the RROD) and it's been great, but with 2009 I'm thinking maybe I should trade my 360 for a ps3?

The exclusives for ps3 now seem to be much better than 360. A blu-ray player and HDMI would also be nice to have.

LBP , MGS 4 , Killzone 2 , god of war 3 , infamous , ratchet and clank , flower , uncharted 2

all of them look great and there seems to be a much better variety of game types on PS3.

I've played/am tired of pretty much all 360 games except halo 3 and the fallout 3 DLC... and the exclusives comming out this year don't look very promising.

But I hear alot of people who say they have both systems rarely touch PS3, which worries me alittle bit...

Do alot of people play though PSN? Is the internet still laggy?

Do you guys think it's worth it?

If you can, keep the 360 and buy a PS3. Then you get the best of both worlds.

But if you really don't have the money and have to sell your XBOX, then go for it. Sounds like you're getting tired of it.

Yes, a lot of people are on PSN, very close to XBL in terms of numbers, simply because PSN is free.

Unless you have a bad Internet connection, online lag is not a factor. There are even dedicated servers.

Simply put, if you want it, and have the money, why not?

If you like the PS3 exclusives I say go for it try to do it before you get another rrod

PSN is great I play online Call of Duty 4, Little Big Planet, MGS4, GTAIv and soon Killzone 2 :) but yeah it's a wise choice to get a PS3 and the blue ray is awesome I recently bought Rambo First Blood on Blue Ray the quality is superb.

Not a good idea to save, but a GREAT idea to save. I got a RRoD and got mad, bought a PS3 while my 360 was out for repair. Lets just say that I was happy when my 360 got back. It made me appreciate the 360 more, then NXE came out and whoa. I enjoy the PS3 for its own reasons too. Bluray, hardware, internet browser, and a gang of outstanding games. I try to get all the exclusives on the PS3...again.....its a good Idea to have both. Then you never have to suffer a drought.

I would not trade it. 360 will have new gtaIV downloadaable content soon. The only game you can't get is Killzone thats worth it now. PS3 is failing from a sales stanpoint. I own both. But can say I get 4 times the use out of my 360. Multiplayer games are better on Xboxlive and you will be lucky to get more than 75 dollars for an xbox trade. Save your money for a PS3 and enjoy what you have. I sold my Wii to get an bought a PS3. But I was able to get what I payed forout of my Wii.

I'm not really planning on keeping both... I don't have the money right now to buy games for both (everything that I want comming out for the 360 is also comming on the PS3 anyways)

Normally when some new member asked if they should trade console X for console Y, they only own console Y, and just asking to try to bash console X. This guy probably only has a PS3.

No, not worth it, PS3 has many overhyped games like Killzone 2, that in reality is a 8-9 hour shooter, or LBP that took me a day to end or MGS4 that has some of the most old and tired gameplay and level design etc

It is definatly not worth changing, unless you hate RPG's that 360 offers in tons

PS3 so far has two of the worst scoring JRPG's this generation, White Knight (7/10 in RPGFan and 7/7/7/8 in Famitsu and Demon Soul again scoring as low as WKC)

Also i do not see that better variety of games, 360 has far better variety, since it has major strategy, WRPG, JPRG, action, adventure, survival, stealth etc games in 2009

If would be a big mistake to sell your 360 because you don't know what type of games that microsoft are releasing that you might like this year. Just keep your 360 and try and save up and purchased you a PS3. You'll have the best of both worlds.Soulja_West
