How many people think sony should bring back its 60 gb because i think it should

Thats the one I own and I think its by far the best model, it has everything Sony intended the PS3 to have.
I think they should have just come out with an 80GB and 40GB from the very beginning instead of re-releasing different hardware variations. Both models should have had the Emotion Engine and the 40GB should have had less features. Wait a second sounds familiar..............It's stupid to keep on changing up the hardware. What do I know I'm only the consumer!
I bought the 60GB though and I'm happy, I just think that plan I came up with would have been the better choice.
I dont care howmuch memory the console has, i just want real backwards compatibility.BuryMe
Me too, actually I would even settle for the software BC of the 80gb, I just want BC! I have a bag full of PS2 games, I even have an unopened copy of DMC3 special edition that I never got a chance to play because my PS2 died, and I refuse to buy another (3rd) PS2.
Call me when Sony can get PS3 down to $300 with BC in tact and the Dual Shock 3 controller included.
[QUOTE="Relys"]I just bought a 40gb and I'm cool with it.AmyMizuno...How could you? I don't understand how anyone could buy a PS3 and not play PS2 games on it. They all play PS1, but still... I hardly ever use my PS3 to play PS3 games. Backwards compatibility is what makes me love my PS3.
HAHA, I actually jsut got done playing Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 on my PS3 to.

Uhhm you do know the PS2 still exists right?

I think people who love to play PS2 games should contuine to game on thier PS2 if they had one. If you sold your PS2 to get a PS3 (like I did) then its alright I guess.
But theres a reason why its called the PS3, not the PS2.5 . People should make figure that in when they make that choice. Probably why Sony thought of the 40 gig in the first place. Although it still plays PS1 games which is weird. They don't even sell those anymore.
40 gig FTW, loving mine.
PS2 games are just too ugly looking to even go back and to be honest, played them all to death.
Ok let me get this straight.... when Sony released the 60 gig people complained that it was too expensive blah blah blah but now that it's gone people want it back?
I swear people need to make up their minds either that or they should have bought one when it was still available.

I feel the same way, I have never regretted paying release price for my 60 gig PS3. It seems that people wants everything but just not willing to pay for it. Sony has given these people what they wanted (a lower priced PS3) and yet they still complain.
