More than anything, the DS4 should have a new design. Personally, I would touch on the 360 gamepad for inspiration, but nail the D-Pad.

eh... I like the DS3 but if they do re-disgn it then I hope they dont go too far from the traditional DS look

Fair enough. I simply find the 360 controller far more ergonomically viable.

the DS is too small.....
sad for YOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUThe touchpad will become a feature that few first-party games and even fewer third-party games will use. The few games that use it won't have a practical use for it. Just like sixaxis.

I think they should fix the design before adding new stuff. That's Sony's biggest problem with controllers, they cram features in there without bothering to test if it's comfortable or not. The Playstation controller was great as a 2D controller, but then they added analog sticks under the controller (in the most awkward place possible), forcing their users to play in ways that destroy the human hand. Willy105what?

well yeah thats one thing they should of done. They should of come out with other verions of the DS, not replace the DS but just have another or 2 other versions out for people to buy. Like the regualr DS3, then the Hulk version, and a wierd type of hybrid (all systems should od it too). It sucks that there are people out there that cant really enjoy a system cuz they cant get passed the controller. Its not the guy's fault.
DS3 is fine to me, normal size person with normal size hands....
I would prefer they drop the six axis and go back to traditional controller completely, I don't see why I should have to pay twice what I do for a 360 controller for the ability to open a valve by tilting the controller :| there have been far too many gimmicks this gen... (ironically it was the lack of gimmicks that drove me to buy a 360  that turned out well didn't it).
In answer to your question no, also loose those crappy triggers.
