MS doesn't want that. The dollar is already garbage. Price drop means you make even less for consoles sold in the US. They'd probably divert more to Europe/Others if they did a price drop over here.
360 has a nice price tag, I think. My only concern is with the wireless-thing-you-need-to-plug-into-the-back-of-it-for-Live (that's a technical term). I think the Xbox should have it built into it and/or have a 50$ price drop for it.

yeah the wireless adapter its wayyyy over priced, i can buy a usb wireless thumb drive for 30 dollars for my pc
but directly connected is the best way to play anyways
