Should XBONE Backwards Compatibility games count in it's Official Library List?

Yes,the games I mentioned could be played on those consoles but we still didn't count them.

Because those games are upgraded for the PS4, Just like the Gears of War Remaster will count as an Xbox One game but GOW 2,3 and Judgement will not.

Games through bc have shown to run much worse. Sometimes dipping below 20fps. You would have to lower their score. It isn't fair. So, no.

So , you won't allow last gen games to count when VS PC , but VS PS4 - yes by all means count them.

I see what he is saying now dude. In the Journey 10/10 thread someone said "another AAAA for PS4" which means it counts even though its initial score was AAA. Well all I can say is I own Journey on my PS3 and will not spend any system memory on the game on my PS4. So I guess I am content with the AAA version. Man this is some real hen house shit....................I may need a break from this place.

I was here in the GC/PS2/Xbox days of SW.

With regards to Official Library debates, Backwards Compatibility didn't count for the PS2, the DS, the 3DS, the launch PS3 (PS2/PS1), the later PS3s (all can play PS1), the 360 (50% of the Xbox games), the Wii, and the Wii U...

So what makes the incredibly limited Xbone BC emulation so special that the Xbone would get a very special concession and suddenly get an extraordinary and exclusive pass with the official library having some tiny amount of Xbone BC emulation counted?

Where was this thread in 2012 when the Wii U released with far better BC with the Wii titles?

BC is a nice feature for any console for sure. I am a collector and don't use BC as I don't like the idea of wearing out my new consoles like my Xbone to play my old 360 games since I still own multiple 360s...but BC a nice feature for fans, yes. That's all it is though.

That said, this thread is just poorly conceived.

Not a single Xbox 360 game will run in higher resolution or higher fps on Xbox One than it does on 360. Not a single one. The Xbox One does not automatically remaster games from last gen you would have to be incredibly stupid to think it does. I don't know anyone that stupid, do you?

The library of remasters should be similar across the xbox, & ps4. So far, every game remastered has been released on both platforms(excluding the exclusives like Gears of war, Journey, TLOU, & MCC). So it really doesn't come in to play between the two. Also, the bc on the 360 shows games performing worse. Do we lower the scores on those? or do we pretend it doesn't count?

Reality PS4 has Infamous, BloodBorne, and MLB Show, Rocket Leauge, and Multiplats that are worth playing. Saying it has games like Basement Crawl, Godzilla, and every other lower rated piece of garbage game, just to pad your stats and agenda is down right shameful.

So with that said "NO" the BC games don't count but in the real world it's a bigger deal to be able to play games like hopefully Red Dead Redemption and Orange Box over Godzilla PS4 and Basement Crawl. The cows know this and will hate this but they are just gonna have to cope, and keep saying it doesn't matter!

Sorry, but a remaster doesn't get to be counted as an entirely new exclusive for the sake of some list padding. They aren't even exclusives. It's an advantage for the X1 sure, it's a bullet point the X1 cats get to use that they actually have a form of BC, and not a shitty streaming service.
