Shouldn't Sony fans be a bit more humble about Killzone...

I'm thinking and hoping it's gonna be an AA title. I mean, the 120 dev team and 20 million dollar budget is *hopefully* going to make a great game.

Then again, a lot of game have big budgets and end up being terrible, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Honestly people shouldn't have any feelings towards a game that hasn't released and certainly can't base anything on the previous installment that was released on the older console.  I've seen games that were terrific and then the sequel was just horrid......just as I"ve seen original games looking like crap then the sequel is awesome.

I know it's hard but all the opinions on a game that no one has any idea of what it's going to look/play like when it's released is just fanboy talk.  It's nice to try to bash or lift up a title that hasn't released....in the end it means nothing.

One look at Motorstorm final build and target render tells me this...if it can get that close with a much much larger budget....this game is gonna shock people.

Look at CoD4...it has FAR less money and time and looks really frackin good.

People WILL be owned one way or the other. I am sure this game will be better than Halo 3. It's something new and refreshing. Halo is an almost hated and worn out name now....a breathe of new life into one franchise as another dies off.

When around 100 media outlets have the same opinion, it is no longer someone's opinion but the general consensus.  You may think Killzone is better, but A LOT of people don't.

Killzone sucks, simple as that. I played it once with one of my friends and I was very dissapointed. There is no map, and you could walk around for hours in a complete circle without finding at least one enemy._CloudSwift_

If I was a Cow I would just keep my mouth shut about Kill Zone. See how it goes..if it exceeds expectations than celebrate and if it flops then you didn't hype it so it won't matter.

Kill Zone Liberation for the PSP was a great game and already improved on the PS game.  (Sorry I love to pimp this game whenever I get the chance.)

I mean c'mon... Killzone 1 was quite possibly the biggest flop in gaming hype history.  Any doubters? didn't think so.  In short, be carefull what you hype about your precious Killzone especially when mentioning Halo in the same breath... you may get stung again....

You are making a faulty arguement.  The hype for Killzone 2 is regarding the potential graphics and how close it may come to the target demo we saw at E3.   I have not seen a single post by someone claiming Killzone 2 will be AAA.  

Meanwhile, while Killzone 1 certainly did flop, the graphics were quite impressive for a PS2 game at that time. 

But to say that people shouldn't hype Killzone 2's graphics because Killzone 1 wasn't very good gameplay-wise is an extremely intellectually dishonest arguement.
