sigh... can we just aknowledge that the PS3 is hardly available?

OK... other than in the USA and SOME parts of asia... there is literally little or NO access to the PS3 in 99% of countries...

I live in singapore, and i have not seen one PS3 (not even after phoning the sony store and asking when they get it)...

I had to go all the way to hong kong to get one (i was going there anyway... soo...)

So before lemmings and sheep go ON AND ON about sony are going to fail, Just think: America and japan arent the only countries in the world that buy consoles...

But even in America wher the PS3 is widely available it is being outsold by all the other next gen consoles.cakeorrdeath

Japan and the US account for atleast 60% of the gaming market...and most of the rest lies in Europe.  It is quite widely available to the gaming market.

Thats not true. PS2 sold just as many units in NA as it did in Europe. Europe is the 2nd biggest gaming market.

I don't care about how much weed you get for a G. But the PS3 is doing a miserable job of getting sold; it's due to the negative word of mouth and ridiculous price, and since the Wii and 360 are constantly hogging the spotlight. Trust me, every single Best Buy I walk into, I see a stack of 4-7 PS3s. Nobody bothers to even examine one. In fact, a store clerk was telling a woman about the PS3.... Woman: "How much does this cost?" Clerk: "$500 for a 20GB version, and $600 for a 60 GB version, ma'am." Woman: "What games are out for this?" Clerk: "Well, the PS3 has a lot of sports games and about one shooter. Most of the games are not doing so well." Woman: "Well, what else do you have?" Clerk: "We have an Xbox 360 and a Wii, ma'am." Woman: "Oh, you have the new Nintendo? I heard my friend saying 'Oh, it's so fun! My son loves it!'" Clerk: "Yeah, it's getting quite a lot of good word-of-mouth." Woman: "I think I'll buy one... I saw 321 ps3 stacked on my local(insert here:best buy(55%),walmart(25%),others(20%) and no one( 0 out of 100) brought them. true story palaric8

As of yesterday they had no less than 70 PS3s sitting on the floor in 2 pallets.  

Don't post until you've actually called the number and verified, for yourself, that the PS3 is indeed available in HUGE numbers, at least in some parts of the country.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I would never say something was readily available unless I could prove it.  In this case, it was easy.  Just look for the MOUNTAIN of unsold 60gig systems.

You know how I know you are lying? Because there is no way in hell a someone will be able to walk into a store and be like "bag that wii up for me!" and actually get a wii because trust me I've tried and I still got no wii those things are impossible to get.  PS3's are not hard to get though thats for sure.

As I predicted almost a year ago, PS will brag how well they are going in percentages of sales, while Wii and 360 will brag about million units sold.
