since M$ wont buy Take two Who will (guessing game XD)

One company that says it's not in the running is Microsoft. Because today's independent publishers are platform agnostic - that is to say, they build games for all major systems - taking over one would result in a massive revenue loss for Microsoft, as all development would be redirected toward the Xbox 360.

good call. recently EA has been the evil empire of games. I bet EA will get Take 2 then set ridiculous deadlines for GTA4 and it will end up rushed and crappy. just like almost all EA games

Anyway, the reason people don't want EA to buy Take-Two is because of 2K Sports. EA already has a top-tier sports line, and they want to see competition. If Ubi gets it, that'd put them that much closer to competing with EA as a tit-for-tat equal. 

I think the question who would want to buy Take-Two ...

  5 Quarters of losses ....
  Court cases ....
   And then their is the cost of Take-Two ... estimated at 2 Billion $$$ ...

 Microsoft would buy Take-Two -- but GTAIV isnt worth the cost ...
 SONY would buy Take-Two but it would ruin them financially for the year ( SONY dosnt have $2 Billion + x many $100's of millions to throw around )
 Nintnedo would buy Take-Two but have no incentive ...

That logic is daft, if they had all of Take twos games, people whould buy the console just for them. I think the main reason is Jack Noobson, they know he will follow around Rockstars publishers and get them banned. They just dont want to deal with a noob.toxicmog
